Re-op today! WOOT!
Ladies,
Some of you may remember my wonky rightie story after my primary augmentation on August 19, 2010. Sadly, she never did drop appropriately. My PS seemed to think the implant was just too large for my anatomy. On to round two...
Today, my PS removed the original 290 MX and replaced it with a 255 LX. Although the volume is less, the main difference in the two implants was in height, which seemed to be my problem. Fingers crossed...
Girls, I'm 4 hours post-op and want to run around naked! (Yes, Virginia, I already peeked). No more Frankenboob! The upper pole fullness/ squarish shape and rippling are GONE. The doctor also widened the pocket just a bit, so my new implant is sitting pretty and the nips are both looking the same direction. Hallelujah!
For anyone considering a re-op to reposition, so far the recovery has been much less painful than the primary. I could probably do with Tylenol, but they gave me Vicodin so why not. ;)
I know many of you have been so happy with your new breasts, and now 5 months later I think I'll be joining you in LOVING the new me.
xoxoxoxoxo,
Nell
