Wow THANK YOU so much ladies for all your good luck wishes!! Nearly made me cry!
I have been frantically cleaning the house, doing laundry etc and now I'm just about to have a bath and body scrub - the last for a while!
I am feeling pretty nervous too - I'm really hoping it's not as painful as last time! I have started googling surgery info and reading all these horror stories that have happened to other women. Why would I do that to myself? I'm such an idiot! Now I'm thinking "I have a bad feeling about this". I need to chill out.
:tears:

Re: Good Luck hannah766 - PIP Removal Day Fri 2st Jan
Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for your messages!
The op went well and I am now 8 days post op. My boobs look SO much better now, Mr Withey seems to have fixed the bottoming out and asymmetry, and they seem a bit bigger, so fingers crossed they only get better! I have also got rid of those nasty PIP's WOOHOO!!! (well I say got rid of-they are sitting in my bedroom, in a pretty silver present bag of all things, the nurse gave me it so I wouldn't be seen wandering around with implants!)
I can't believe how much better I have felt compared to last time, I was up and about on my own by day 3, and I have hardly had any pain at all all week, UNTIL NOW!!!!
Basically, I went up to the hospital for my 1 week post op appt. to get my dresses changed, and scars checked. All seemed fine, the nurse said my scars looked fine. I said my surgeon told me that I needed my dressings to be done exactly the same again and she said that normally she only leaves a steri-srip over the scars and that's it. I told her my surgeon said I needed lots of support under the breasts so she put large square patches over the top and that was it. I put my new surgical bra on for the first time as my surgeon said no bra for 1 week, (I bought a 32 inch, no cup size, one size fits all) it felt tight but the nurse said that was normal. We drove the 3 and a half hours back home and during the journey my left boob seemed to hurt. By the time I got back I was in agony. I took the bra off and was in eye watering pain in my left breast.
My husband phoned Mybreast and eventually Mr Withey called and told me not to wear the bra for now and was not happy with the nurse because he had left instructions that I was to be taped underneath my boobs (like he had done) for support. So I did this myself at home as we have some surgical tape, however ever since wearing the bra yesterday I have been experiencing really bad pain in my left breast. So now I'm really worried! I do hope the pain goes, I can't travel all the way up to London again so soon.
It's such a disappointment as I have been feeling so well until now.

Congratulations of your new Pip free boobs - it must be such a relief to have those out now (not sure I would want them back as a present though!). Sorry the nurse didn't follow instructions and do you think the bra is too tight, I have a M & S zip front one that doesn't have proper cups and sometimes that is uncomfortable, but not to the extent of extreme pain. When is your next appointment? - hope it isn't too long to wait xx
