I can't help it I just can't not measure myself every few hours lol. I'm 4 days post op and they are still extra hard and high but I really want an idea of what my bra size will be. My measurements are 29" band and 38" chest/boobs.
Anyone have any idea what size this size would be in bras? Online calculators are crap as I know people were saying a few weeks ago so don't want to look on them.

I was only 34C 32D! I don't have much tissue at all. But if my band measurement is 29 doesn't that automaticly make me 34 back not 30? I haven't lost any weight lol.

no you dont have to add 5 or 3 anymore, your measurement of 29 means you are a 30 back. so that would have made you a 30DD with the 410, thats a 4 size increase and it's still early.
Dont use the online calculators they are crap. Told me I was a 38C?

Oooooh right, I'm not really sure on the adding 3 or 5 or whatever? Can you explain please Misf1? And why don't you have to do this anymore what's changed? It would explain why everyone on here thought I was lying about having 410cc and only being a 34C lol.

With the old fashioned method if your rib measurement was an even number you add 3 inches to the measurement and if it's odd you add 5 inches which would in old fashioned terms have made you a 32 band. But now they changed it, I'm not sure when, but you take the closest back size to your rib size. Big boobs need support, so you will probably get get a shock putting on a 30 band as they have to be quite tight. You could probably get away with a 32 if you thought a 30 was cutting you in half lol. A 34 will be far too lose though. Seeing as you have even bigger boobies now, I'd suggest getting fitted properly in a bra.

I would reccomend Bravissimo, they dont use tape measures. If anyone gets a tape measure out, I would run, but thats just me.

So I am a 30 band and how do I you figure out the cup size? Who changed it and why are they trying to ruin my head?? lol.
And if it's been changed why haven't the online ones said this?

A rough guide, as I hate measureing. measure round your ribs, then measure ove fullest part of your bust
Take the band measurement away from this bust measurement and the difference is the cup size. This is how to determine bra size.
1 inch = A cup
2 inches = B cup
3 inches = C cup
4 inches = D cup
5 inches = DD cup
6 inches = E cup
7 inches = F cup
etc
I dont know who changed it. But they messed up my head lol
I'm probably talking rubbish with these measurements, they are no where near 100% so take them with a pinch of salt and get fitted properly

Don't know if offer is still on - but our local M & S was offering free measuring at weekend and then you got £5 off when you spend £35 on lingerie. I was tempted but by the time I got out of the queue to return an unworn sports bra we were over car park time!

i am measuring a 31 inch rib and 39 1/2. Any guesses so far?
Presumably i am a 32 not 34 though??

ToriLoula I predict a 30G at least, cos of the width of your implants, measuring around your chest doesn't work anyway cos it doesn't take in to account the width of your boobs, only the projection.

Oliviafellows I'd make you a 32ff going by the above method.

Bloomin eck.....just measured myself this evening (strapping off today & bra on - yippee - diary is updated with detail).

Going by Misf1's post I measured myself a 30E!!!!!!!!!!!!

ie 30" around rib cage & 36" over largest part - is that right then? - I would have thought a full C/small D just by looking at them (but what would I know about what that woudl look like as have always been an A!!
