OMG so annoyed

Hey girls,

Well as some of you know I went to see my surgeon yesterday because I have CC. After examining my Flash

my surgeon agreed they are getting worse, and my right is getting harder, but guess what he said...Just carry on massaging and come back andsee me in 6months..He asked if I were taking any pain killers for the pain and told him I were taking Ibuprofen,and he said "well just double your dose..

Im so fed up and upset..I was speaking to Emrussell (we both had the same surgeon) who suggested I went to see another surgeon and got their opinion..What do the rest of you think? I cant put up witht this pain and wonky boobs for another six month :sad:

That doesn't sound too good if you're in such pain. Could you not phone up the company you're with (or is he a private surgeon) and tell them that you really are finding the pain very difficult to cope with? Perhaps even ask the surgeon to explain his exact reasons for making you wait another six months... Does he genuinely believe that a further 6 months of massage could correct this? Try and get some definite answers.

I hope you can get some answers soon, it doesn't seem fair or right that you should be left in such pain.

I don't really know hun, but I think I'd be tempted to get a second consultation. I don't know much about CC but 6 months seems like a long time to be leaving it.

So sorry to hear that hun, this is not right. Ibuprofen should not be taken for a long period so he shouldnt advise you that. I say you start writing a letter to Mya head office about your treatment and to the healthcare commission:

and also call them and tell them you want to see another surgeon for a second opinion. CC wont go away through massage, he knows this. This aftercare seems awful, maybe its just the surgeon being stubborn? Do you have your aftercare in writing, whats Mya's policy on cc? x

From what I am aware, in case of CC they are obliged to replace the implants for free within 5 years. You should def insist hun, it's your body and they should help you, not let you wait longer!

Oh no hun you must be so annoyed, 6 months is a horrendous amount of time for him to expect you to wait, CC does not clear up like some virus! And to advise doubling dosage of pain killers too!! tut-tut! He should know better, if you ask me he is stalling for some reason, does he think it is CC? or is he saying give it time to see if it is? either way 6months is too long to be left like this, get a 2nd opinion or keep on at MYA about your pain saying you cannot live on an over-dosage of pain killers so something will need to be done for you, chin up sweetie xx Hug

Maybe your PS is planning on leaving MYA in 6 months?

You shouldn't be taking painkillers for more than a few months, it can really damage your stomach. I'd follow the advice of the other girls and get this sorted prompto.
