Implants?
I am just wondering how and why you decided on the implant you have including the manufacturer of it? Also if you had to get them done would you still have the same implant?
Just asking as I don't know what I quite want yet but naturelle appears to be popular on many sites I have been on but people say they are more expensive but I'm wondering how much more expensive?
I did create a thread asking similar questions but there were no replies...I suppose some of you may have felt it was too similar to the post op sticky thread but I found that thread combined with the info under your avatars still didn't really provide me with the right answers so I thought there was a gap big enough for the thread. Anyway I really would appreciate any replies.

Re: Implants?
Hi there,
I had my first boob job in 2006 and I didn't research implants and was recommended PIP implants by my surgeon. At the time I assumed my surgeon would only use the best and the best quality. I am now 5 years on and just about to have my second boob job because I have PIP implants and have now got a rupture. (I don't know if you are aware but they have been recalled and are no longer on the market due to the poor quality of them and a really bad batch which I have!! Some girls have these and are fine though!)
Anyway this time round I have really research my implants and at times been really confused on what to get because there are so many out there. but I eventually choose allergan natrelle because they seem to be the best for me. After meeting with my surgeon who uses these nagor and pure polyurethane implants agreed with me and also recommended them as one of the best implants on the market.
There are also CUI implants which are ok but they are a cheaper implant. I had a few consultations with different surgeons and from CUI to natrelle worked out about £1,000 difference in price but this will vary depending on the cosmetic surgery. I have got a really good price for mine at the minuet which I am more than happy with.
I am now looking forward to my surgery 19 Jan to replace the PIP implants. My only advice would be to research your implants!!
Hope this helps and everyone is different! X x x

Re: Implants?
Certain surgeons/companies will only use certain brands of implants. Also different types of implants cost more/less than others. I had the choice between Nagor implants and Allergan(Natrelle is their top range) as those were the two my surgeon used. I chose the allergan ones after alot of researching both here and online. Its all down to personal choice really and how much you are willing to spend.x

Re: Implants?
I went for the naturelle too, felt the quality and guarantee was worth the extra.

Re: Implants?
The price difference between CUI and Allergan Inspiras was £400 at the clinic I went to and I decided on the Allergan's because of their lifetime guarantee and far wider range of sizes and profiles.
Other manufacturers (such as Nagor) offer very similar quality and some surgeons prefer to use these as they are British made and apparently (according to James McDiarmid, our resident PS who kindly helps out in these forums) Nagor have a better liason between the surgeons and themselves.

I told him the look i was after and it wasn`t till after my op that i started hearing about profiles, projections makes and models. Or about pip problems.
