Not sure what size implant..help!
I've been advised by my surgeon to go with 275cc overs to take me from a small A cup to a C - he said 130cc is roughly a cup size. After looking at other posts I'm worried that 275s might make me bigger than this, more like D/DD. I'd really like to be a C cup, I'm a size 8 and currently a 32a. Has anyone got any advice?
I'm gonna try the rice boobies as this sounds like a great test!
Thanks ladies

Re: Not sure what size implant..help!
Don't forget that cup size depends on your bandsize too... so somebody with 275 who's only a 30 band might end up a 30D, where you'd be a 32C... also it depends on how much breast tissue you have to start of with... if you have less than someone else who has 275, they will obviously end up bigger.
It's a really tough thing to work out, and your surgeon is the best person to advise you... if they think you can get to 32C with that size implant they're probably right. But I would suggest that you have a look at some pictures of other girls who are post-op 32C to ensure that it's definitely the size you want to be...
(It's taken me this long to learn that your bra might say 32C on it, but that doesn't mean you'll look like a 32C... especially once in clothes!!)
Hope this helps a little hun,
LL

Well it's really difficult to say for sure what size you'll end up and your surgeon, having examined you, will know your anatomy better than us.
But I'd also say don't stress too much about ending up a D rather than a C. A "D" cup sounds huge when you're pre-op and have small boobs, but it's a nice size and would be very natural and proportional-looking even on a szie 8.

Thanks for the advice ladies, I have my final consultation with him on 28th so il chat to him then. I've got hardly any tissue but he said I have enough to go over the muscle, and he knows what size I'd like to end up. I should probably show him some pictures aswell, as lindylou rightly says - boobies can look so different in clothes! BTW annie, your avatar looks great so if I end up with anything like your boobs then il be a very happy lady!!

Re: Not sure what size implant..help!
Thanks hun! I really like the fact that I can dress them up or down depending on the situation! In my work clothes I look the same as I did pre-ba when I used to wear gel bras. But with a push up bra and a low cut top I can also get them to be somewhat more "eye catching" :heehee:
But yes, take your ps some pics so he knows what you're after and like I say, don't worry too much about the difference between a C and a D - it's really not as noticeable as you imagine it to be pre-op.

Hiya, i'm an A cup too with just enough tissue for overs, i want to be a C cup and my surgeon offered me 260 and 280 to acheive that. I know we're all different but 275 sounds about right x

Re: Not sure what size implant..help!
Just a little word of advice from personal experience, A C cup with implants won’t look the same as a natural C cup for some reason implants look a lot smaller then the actual bra size. If you want to look like a C cup you’ll probably end up being a bigger size in your bra but if you want to be an actual C cup you’ll probably end up looking a bit smaller then a natural C cup if that makes sense. I would find a picture of the size you like and show you’re PS. Look like a D-DD aus but I’m actually am E-F aus when i tell people what size i am no one believes me i don’t look anywhere near that size.

I'm a 32b hun and surgeon suggested 240 or 280 for a full C cup. I still haven't decided yet, still unsure! Xx
