G's v CC's
Girls I appreciate this topic usually gets extensively covered. I have done a search and cannot seem to find the posts .
Are cc's and G's equivalent, or is there a slight difference. Ill be having Nagor implants and notice they are in G's.
Ta very much!

Re: G's v CC's
Depends on the density of the material though... so surely that depends on whether you're having saline or silicone, and if silicone then what kind of silicone, etc...?
Re: G's v CC's
They are the same. I have Inspira Soft Touch 445g xxx

Hmmm....I was told that cc was the same as ml - and if that's so, then there is a difference (at least when making rice boobies)!
I think it matters what substance it's made out of? (as some material is more dense than others, so would produce less volume!)

Re: G's v CC's
hmmm maybe its ml i was thinking of that is the same as cc then.
Rice boobies is different as rice is not the same density as silicone or saline, but rice boobies are certainly not accurate, just a bit of fun.
Maybe ask James? He will knowbe able to tell you...

Re: G's v CC's
ml = millilitre
cc = cubic centimetre
Those are definitely the same, but then they both measure volume. Weight is different and defined by the density. Not that I actually know the density of saline or silicone lol but they could be different. Definitely one to ask the surgeon!
Having said that, I'm sure when I held a silicone implant at the consult I went to, it was lighter than I expected... because I was expecting it to weigh about as much as water/saline? Which implies silicone might not be as dense.
Hmm. Sounds like Hattie's right - off to James ;)

Re: G's v CC's
makes sense pixie! I also think silicone feels less dense than saline. Will be interesting to see what james says.. that one's stumped me!
