Charls Good luck for tomorrow hun
Dell Good luck for Sunday hun
My BA is next saturday I had my preadmission yesterday which has made everything sereal, I can't sleep right now and I have a week to go some of you guys are even closer.
We must all be feeling the same right now nervious excited scared then excited.
Does anyone else feel that they have made the right decision even more so when the sun is out, it has helped me to stay positive and happy, just the thought of being able to wear a basic vest top with big enough boobs puts a smile on my face
:flowers:
My favourite clothing for the summer is dress
Group hug coming

Re: April Buddies!
Hey everyone! I am getting a BA 4-26-11 and I CANNOT wait!!!!! It seems like it is forever away! I went in for botox yesterday and they gave me all my meds for my surgery and told me I will be the first surgery that day, YAY! I am so excited to have new boobies for summer :-) I have so many clothes that I wore when I was breastfeeding that I can't wait to wear again.

Re: April Buddies!
andsophie definately definately no nail varnish hand and toe, it would affect the anaesatics monitoring you whilst you are under sedation.

Re: April Buddies!
Yeah, no nail varnish, jewelry, piercings (left in), or false nails.
The nails are to do with the monitoring equipment by the anaesthetist.
The piercings and jewelry are because the surgeon uses both a scalpel and a device with electricity to cauterise the incision, to minimise bleeding. Metal jewelry and piercings would act as conductors.
Garlic and alcohol are known to thin the blood so are best avoided before and after surgery. My PS advised no alcohol for 48 hours before.
2 weeks seems extreme tbh. It simply wouldn't be in your system that far in advance, but follow your PS's individual advice of course.
Vitamin E and fish oils have a similar effect and should be avoided before surgery too.

Re: April Buddies!
I've had my pedicure and eyebrow/lashes done today.
I'm all packed and ready. Fears allayed for the moment about dying on the table, thank goodness. I was starting to get on my own nerves!
Might pick up a magazine tomorrow, bottle of water and some snacks.
Need to pack my makeup and toiletries too, but will do that Monday morning.
Charls, how did you get on today chick? You all done? Hope it all went well and you're recovering well :flowers:

Re: April Buddies!
Good luck to all my April buddies that are having BA today or tomorrow, I will be thinking of you all and looking forward to your post op posts.
Time has really flown by I can not believe it. It is all very shocking I think.
My mum has got my bag packed at her house ready for me and she has also added another pair of Pj's in case AI get to hot in my button up ones.
My dad is coming on the school run with me tomorrow and then we are going to write a good old fashioned list of do's and donts for him and the older two children.
Still got to pack a bag of things for the baby o take to my friends house.
Then its just changing the bedding for my dad but that will have to be the last thing I do before leaving on Wednesday x

WOW! i'm on the 21st too! looks like there's a few of us! :) are you as excited as me? i cant actually wait to not have a chest like a 12 year old boy and be able to wear clothes without vest tops underneath to hold them up and be able to find swimwear that doesnt float down when i swim! i think its actually gonna change my life. that sounds so cheesy but i've wanted it for years and now its actually happening! O.M.G! :D x
