Implant, or no implant?

Implant, or no implant?
My boobs are currently like two tennis balls in socks, so I'm planning an uplift. But I'm wondering how to figure out if I need implants too: how do I figure out how big my boobs are going to be when all the excess skin is gone? I mean, I can feel the breast tissue, but I don't know what that's going to translate to in terms of filling out my bra when I have normal-shaped boobs!
Anyone got any idea how I figure this out? Or is it just better to talk to surgeons about what I want to achieve?

Re: Implant, or no implant?
I would talk to the PS and ask his/her opinion. However, I would say an implant supports an uplift in the sense that it gives the fullness back to the breast if you have lost volume from say weightloss. Have you hear of the rice test? That worked out well for me in terms of approx size. x

Thanks Joy, I was just reading about the rice test. Will make myself a couple of little bags in the morning. Memo to self: take them out before I go to work.

Re: Implant, or no implant?
I agree with Jay...
Talk to your ps, BUT you will loose size during the uplift and usually if your boobies are in a droopy state they dont generally have the ability to hold up much shape even with the lift, so having an implant will give you the shape with with lift. You dont have to have a large implant, you may just want to re-create the look you would have with your original breast tissue sitting in the correct place.

Re: Implant, or no implant?
Speak to your surgeon hunni xx Like SD says you lose a size with an uplift xx
I initially went for just an uplift but was told will get a better result from your uplift with implants in so I had very small implants xx

Re: Implant, or no implant?
Hi Kay, I am considering an uplift and BA with Mr. Khan. I am currently a 34B, he recommended an uplift and 310cc implants for me. Are you very pleased with his work?
