How much do implants weigh? Empty How much do implants weigh?

Post by jellytot 27th December 2010, 2:31 pm

I've just weighed myself for the first time since my BA and I've put on 6lbs!!! I'm trying to work out how much of that is the weight of my new implants (375cc each), and how much is Xmas 'indulgence' (although I haven't really eaten that much, so I'm wondering whether any of the post-op painkillers might make you retain fluid or something???)

It would be good to know what my new implants weigh (so that I can mentally 'adjust' to what my new 'normal' weight should be!

Does anyone know?

Is that 1.5lb per boob, or all together? I haven't had any constipation (so I guess I better step away from the choccies? lol)

Thanks for your help Abbie x

It wont be much at all. You will be bloated after your op so this can contribute to the weight gain. I'm sure in a few weeks when you are bck to your normal routine you will go back to your normal weight.
It would be 0.88 lbs per implant

As there would be two implants, for 1000gm implants these would be around 2.2lbs - so the total weight gain would be round about 4½lbs

OMG jellytot, I weighed myself yesterday for the first time since my new boobies (365cc) and I am 61bs over too.....arggggh

As I am nearly 2 months on I don't have post op excuse......

I have been so careful with my diet and the fact I don't like xmas cakes/pudds etc always helps me keep in check over the festive period, so where the hell did those pounds come from?????

'cc' is equivalent to grams so 1000ccs will be 1kg, so you would put 2kg on, like abbie says this is about 4.4lbs
