HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS?
My right boob is fantastic it has dropped and fluffed and looks exactly as I imagined it would. BUT the left looks nothing like I imagined it would, it looks like a canon ball stuck on my chest. It's very round, high and projects more. Where as my right is soft, tear drop shaped and flatter. Tonight in the shower whilst massaging them I noticed what can only be described as a thick knotty rope under the skin, in the crease where my scar is. I have noticed that when I raise my left arm up it feels very tight where the knotty rope is and i can feel it catching on my ribs. I think what ever this is is stopping my left boob dropping and is keeping my boob pushed up and outward. Does anyone know what it is and what can I do about it.

Re: HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS?
Hi hun, it is quite normal for one boob to drop quicker than the other and I had this, it did take a month or two to even up, but they did even out. As for the knotty lump it does sound like mondors chord, its quite a common reaction to surgery where a vein becomes inflamed. It wont do anything and there are no side effects. It will go away on its own.
Re: HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS?
Hi Misf1 thank you so much for replying. I had never heard of Mondors. cord so I had a look on the Internet. Most of the pics show the cord running vertical but the thing I am feeling runs horizontal along the length of my scar. The symptoms I am having are the same as described on the Internet. Can Mondors Cords run horizontally aswel as vertically?
Thanks again

Re: HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS?
I have no idea hun, I suppose it could. Although thinking about it again, its probably just your internal stitches you can feel. They will dissolve over time, and when your surgeon gives you the go ahead you can massage your scars to break down the scar tissue annd help them go flat. It takes a scar a year to fully heal, so dont worry about massage for now, its probably too early.

I've got a similar problem hun, but on looking at the thread entitled [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], mine look identical to the ones shown in the link on that thread (i.e. vertical just under the breast crease).
You can't imagine the relief I felt when I saw the messages in that thread.

Re: HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS?
the scar tissue on my naughty (left) booby is quite thick under the skin compared to the right. It was last time too, in fact both scars were quite firm after my first op so much so that you could see it in clothes 9i had nip incision). This did sort itself out and they went flat after a few months. Is it directly under the scar hun? i.e like thick, lumpy scar tissue where the skin has been cut? if so I am sure it will go flat xxx
