Incisions...
Hey ladies just wondered how long it took for your incisions (particuarly under breast) to close up (stitches dissolve and skin healed together)? I dont mean when does the scarring go i just mean incisions?xx

I think about 2-3 weeks. At 6 weeks definitely they were fully healed. xx

Re: Incisions...
My skin had closed up at 10 days, I then had a spitting stitch which opened up a tiny hold for a day or two but everyone heals differently hun. I'm sure you'll be fine at your check up. It's such a worry for us all, I was more nervous about the check up than I was about my BA in case something had gone wrong with my incisions.

Re: Incisions...
i know how you feel. I couldn`t bear to have a real good look at them just the odd peak. I saw the nurse 9 day after a told her i`d only peaked and she looked took the platic showwer proof cover off then the tape (which looked a little blood stained,) then whilst laying there she got a mirror to show me the had healed lovely. It`s week 3 now they look a little lumpy but healing really well so dont worry x

Re: Incisions...
My PS told me mine had healed at my 1st week check, but I didnt want to look at them for some reason! He put tape over them which I only took off the other day and I was amazed at how small and good they look already! Like Wend said they are very lumpy still, but not a vivid colour at all, and no blood!
