I was layed in bed last nite and stumbled across a really hard lump under one of my scars. I checked the other one and its the same only a little smaller.
The lumps arnt there wen i stand or sit up just layed down and feel worse layed on my side. Im really worried .. I got my boyfreind to feel because I was freaking out abit and he just said it would be healing and to not worry..probably just to calm me down!!
But I am worried .. does anyone know what this is?? shrug

Scars can be lumpy hun for a while but they do smooth out I promise! It may also be a knot if you had dissolvable sutures that is taking a bit of time to dissolve. If you are worried though hun I would give your clinic a call, as we have just read on katy's thread, you can neer be too careful with these things xx

Scars can sometimes be a little lumpy hun and sometimes under instruction from your surgeon it can help to massage the scar to break down the scar tissue, I had small pea like lumps in mine. Are you booked in for your 6 week post-op appointment? I see you're almost 6 weeks now. Bring the lump to your surgeons attention hun and get him to check it out for you. xxx

My scars were lumpy hun for a fair few months & in one I had quite a hard round lump that turned out to be a stitch Knot coming to the surface......

If your still worried hun then give your clinic a ring & arrange to be checked over.

Thank you :) I wrote to James and got a very rapid response that has put my mind at rest!
Unfortunatly Cookie I havnt got my check up untill January as my surgeon is now off until New Year, lucky man!
