So sad I have had to cancel my op for 19Dec :o(
I am so upset and feel so deflated, my husbands xmas holiday has been cancelled at work due to them being behind on a major project and impending fines for not meeting deadlines etc. I totally understand as his job pays the bills etc but I am so gutted I have had to cancel my BA. I really want him to take me and be there when I wake up and I need him afterwards to help look after our children. He is possibly working in the US in the early part of next year so can't rebook until he has set dates. Hopefully won't be any longer than six months. Why does nothing ever work out the way we plan?? As I have not had my pre op Transform are going to refund my deposit. I felt like the PCC at Transform did try and pressure me into going ahead, she even suggested putting my children in a nursery for a few days after the OP!!! Don't think she has children!!!! It all feels so unreal, I know my time will come but I really had mentally prepared myself for this and feel so so sad.

Sorry to hear that, you must be really naffed off! At least your op is only delayed due to timing...it could be worse like lack of funds or illness.
Time flies and re-booking will be something to look forward to in the new year...xxx

Sorry to hear your news - maybe when he has dates of work schedules for next year you could book a last minute slot at the clinic and get a discount. At least you get to enjoy Christmas with your little children, would have been hard not to get into the thick of all the wrapping paper action on the floor. My kids are grown up and past all that - Dolls prams and garages have been replaced with GHD's, Cameras and other boring technology.

Hi, I am completely new to this but having only had my op two weeks ago I was touched by your disappointment, and just wanted to say that you will need to be able to look after you following your surgery, and this will mean being a little selfish at times you don't feel up to meeting everyone's expectations. Best that you know now that it's not the right time, than your husband springing it on you just after your op and not having any choice in the matter. I'm sure that your Christmas will be much easier, and I hope that you won't have to wait too long. I have considered BA three times now and was still apprehensive this time around, so don't give up faith if you're ready for it now, I'm sure you will be again! Good luck xxx

Hi Rach Thank you for your kind words and congratulations on your new friends. Hope all is well and your healing ok? I have accepted it now that this xmas was not my time and hopefully it won't be too far into next year when I can rebook. It is just so frustating as I have wanted this for so long and everthing was in place and ready to go. I feel just at deflated as my boobies now!!! It is like being a child in a sweet shop, buying a sweet and not being allowed to unwrap it and eat it!!! I know Xmas will be easier with my children having not had the op and I certainly will make the most of rolling round in the wrapping paper and being in the festive spirit x x x

Mummyroo, totally get where you are coming from, but the image of you rolling round in the wrapping paper has put me in such a festive mood- I know you're going to enjoy Christmas so much more! If it's any consolation my boobs were deflated for what seems like an eternity before I grew the balls to do something about it! Be proud of yourself for being ray to change! Sending you best wishes and a quick rebooking! Xx :flowers:

Oh, sorry to hear the dissappointing news Mommyroo :console:
Everything happens for a reason, now you can put full effort into Christmas, and once your hubby works out his work commitments, you go and re-book your dates... it will happen, and when it does you will be that much more thrilled! :flowers:

Aww I'm sorry for you Mummyroo! I thought I was going to have to cancel my op on Dec 22nd (due to having to look after kiddies too when ex hubbie said he wouldn't have them for Xmas)....fortunately he came round! But in the meantime I realised that I'd be able to have a lovely Christmas with my kiddies (and they're only young once)!....I'm really gonna miss them this year (so although I'll have new boobies for Xmas I'll miss this Christmas with them for ever!
I guess it's all swings and roundabouts - you might not get your boobies right now, but it means you won't have to miss any Christmases with your kids (so gotta be a bonus!!!)

That must have cut through you like a knife when you heard the news mommyroo. I really feel devastated for you, but as the other girls have said, sometimes these things happen for a reason. I hope that things work out so that you can have the op fairly soon - plenty of

Hang in there mommyroo...I'm sure having your husbando there for emotional and physical support will make the world of difference. After reading through this site I know I couldn't cope without having my Mum stay for a week. You'll be there before you know it :flowers:

Ahh, Mummyroo, what a disappointment for you, and my heart really goes out to you.
But, if you think about it, right on top of Christmas is probably not the best time to have this done, so perhaps it might be a blessing in disguise.
Just look forward to the New Year and a new you hopefully in the not too distant future. xx
