Yes, hun. Feeling very tired is normal. It's your bodys way of telling you it needs rest after the trauma of your op.

If you're also taking strong painkillers they'll add to your tiredness too hun.

It does pass though as you get stronger. xxx

Aww I spose that makes sense really cookie. Duvet day for me today then. Im only taking paracetamol at mo but will get lots of rest. Ive sort of had to get on with it a bit with my kids as everyone is dropping like flies with a sickness bug and my oh has really injured his back at work. What timing!

Try not to overdo things though sweetness. You have just had a big operation and your body does need time to heal and rest. Not sure how old your children are but if you can get the older ones to help with the younger that takes a little pressure off you. And if you can get any help at all during the day - Take it! You do need all the help you can get especially with children during your first week hun.

My children are 1 and 8. The oldest is fab at playing with her little brother tho. The housework etc can take a back burner for a min I think.

& as for the sickness bug ......Hun that couldnt be at a worse time! I think id move out if mine came down with a sickness bug a few days after my op & moe my mother in lol ....there would be no way id be wantin to catch that so soon after having a op!.........it hurt so much just to sneeze let alone try being sick! sick

That was handy then hun..........& also could be another reason why your finding it hard to get over the G.A as a sickness bug before your op would Knock you for six!
