Tall and slim - what implant size?
Got my 2nd consult with PS tomorrow to discuss size of implants. At the last consult he recommended 385 or 450 high profile partial unders. I'm currently an empty 32b and I think it's my height that is influencing a larger (than I was expecting) implant. Just wondering if any other tall, size 8/10 buddies had the same advice and are you happy with what you've got, it's so hard to imagine what I'm gonna look like :dunno: I'd rather not look like Brigit Neilson!!!

Re: Tall and slim - what implant size?
I haven't had my BA yet, its tomorrow! So nervous... at my consultation, we decided on 380-410cc, and tomorrow when I get there I will be making my final decision, I'm gonna go with the 410cc I think....
I am tall and size 8/10 also.
I do wanna go as large as possible without looking top heavy cuz of my height, as at the consult if you can 'try on' any practice implants... most places will have them.

Re: Tall and slim - what implant size?
I've got my BA tomorrow too (good luck ruthylicious!)
i'm a size 8/10 , 6 ft tall and a flat aa and am going with 275 partial unders.
i'm still an amateur at this but it seems to me that the implant size you will get depends on two things: the look you want to achieve AND what your body measurements are, ie what will fit you best. i was very clear that i wanted only a small increase for a modest, natural end result (i've been aa all my life and didn't want to sprout giant boobies all of a sudden) but my surgeon said 275 is the smallest i can go with because of my breast diameter. he said that should bring me to a b/c -- though judging by the feedback from chums on this site it may be more like a d in the end!
perhaps you could take some pictures along to your second consult tomorrow? and don't forget, you don't have to go with that surgeon if you're not comfortable or want a second opinion. i had three consultations with two different surgeons before making my mind up.
good luck!

Re: Tall and slim - what implant size?
Wow, both tomorrow, you must be so excited (and a little nervous) - good luck!!
Ladies, have you chosen low, mod or high profile?
The implant size has also been based on my bwd which is about 12.5cm and in high projec this is a 385cc implant. Moderate projec would be a 345 implant (according to the Allergan catalogue) with slightly less projection from the chest wall.
I really like my surgeon, but want to make sure that I'm comfortable with my final choice of implants.

Re: Tall and slim - what implant size?
Sometimes called implant profile and sometimes projection, depending on the make of implant I think. As I understand it, it's the extent to which the implant projects from the chest wall. There are a few discussions about it on this forum. But I wouldn't worry yourself if you've already agreed and happy with what's been decided with your surgeon xx
