BA and TTC
Hi all...
This has been playing on mind a bit and really hoping answer won't be i should postpone BA til had my 2nd child as originally was planning on TTC within late 2011/'12. Currently hoping to shedule BA for Feb op '11.
Although im sure OH wouldnt mind holding off ttc for an extra year or two in favour of my ba!
xx

Tricky as you could run the risk of having to fork out for a second op after you'd had another child. Personally I think I'd postpone the ba rather than ttc. x

Re: BA and TTC
id definitely postpone the BA till after youve had a baby if youre planning on doing it that soon, because theres a good chance your boobs will change drastically after pregnancy

Re: BA and TTC
Hey honey I had a BA before my children and have just had another BA to correct the changes that happened to my breasts during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Obviously everyones breasts react to pregnancy differently and if you personally didn't have any changes during or after then go for it but if you did - maybe that's one of the reasons you want a BA?? then I would say hold off until your done having your family.
I lived with CC for 2 years because I didn't want to have a BA again then baby number 2 only to find I would need another BA. For me it was well worth the wait!!

Re: BA and TTC
My PS asked me if i was planning any more kids and although I said no, he stressed that it was something to think about as the breasts are likely to change through another pregnancy. I agree with *Sally* and would postpone ba til after ttc - in fact I did! Now I can look forward to new boobs knowing that they are mine to enjoy for a long time to come.

Re: BA and TTC
I waited till after id completed my family to get mine, even though my boobs were awful after the first one. Ive gone on to have two more children and my boobs have changed drastically each time

Re: BA and TTC
Like the rest of the girls have said, I would personally wait until youve completed your family.
I have a friend who had ba months before falling pregnant and her boobs ended up ruined! She's sice had a further two ops to rectify problems...x

Re: BA and TTC
I fell unexpectedly pregnant 9 months after my op. In all honesty hun I would wait - my boobs are holding up OK at the moment but I am a bit depressed at the changes I've seen happen so far, and I am planning on giving BFing a go so they could change even more. It's a lot of money to spend and there's no point forking out if you know there is a risk that they might change for the worse in a few months. xx

Personally, I would hold off on the BA. I had massive changes and damage to my boobs and if I was to get pregnant again (definitely not on the cards) I would expect the same to happen.

Re: BA and TTC
I was advised to wait until I had finished having children so I have waited until my youngest is now 2 and I don't think we're having any more (even though I would like to). My PS asked me if I was planning more and I said not planning no, and he said that if I got pregnant then my boobs would still change and I might need another uplift after.
