Help!!!

Went for my BA consultation last week and was so so excited. I have extremely deflated boobs after weight loss and feeding 2 large babies. I am currently 32b ( more an a on right hand side though).
On examining me he said he thought i would benefit from an uplift as well and aiming for a modest 32c/d.
However, as this is double the price and would also involve a lot more scarring this sort of writes this option off.
He did say that if i was to just have a straightforward BA i would need a 500-600 cc implant to fill the skin which would take me to a 32 dd/e. He is suggesting unders as i am quite slim on top. I did actually use to be a dd when i was alot larger all over so know how big these would be. This weekend have filled bags with 550cc and tried with bras etc... to see how i felt about size - also asked a few friends and family (causing much amusement!!!) who have all said that because i am quite wide hipped that larger boobs actually balance me out and make me look more in proportion. They also said they thought i would regret not going bigger if i was any less than a large D. I am just worried that if I have the bigger implants without the uplift they will sag really quickly and look worse than i look already. Will having the implants under the muscle help to keep them up better than having them over the muscle!!! So desperate to have them done and just really anxious!

Im no surgon hun but i would say that having 500-600cc implants in breast that already need a uplift would just cause major sagging shrug

My friend had 34DD boobs that were 'empty' & also saggy but was told by a surgon that she could 'skip' the uplift if she just had large implant as it would fill out her tissue.

That was the biggest mistake every as she now has huge boobs & she is soooo upset as they hang down near her bellybutton ( and im not neing over the top or mean!)

She said with the weight of the large implants & the already sagging boobs al it did was make things ten time worse & she really is devistated.

also with 500cc-600cc implants in 32B boobs you would end up alot bigger then a 32D-E cup.

I agree with Crystal hun. If your skin is prone to sagging then the weight of the large implant is just going to set you up for an uplift anyway.

I'd seek a few more opinions from a couple of different surgeons and if it's felt you'll most benefit from a lift then I'd wait a little longer to find the rest of the money to fund that hun.

I know that probably wasn't what you wanted to hear, but I kinda think it's what you expected Hug xx

Have to agree with the other two posters here. Firstly I don't think larger implants instead of a lift are a wise choice. You could end up with a great result in the short term but as you already have sagging I think the heavy implant will soon start dragging your skin down and you will just end up with (like Crystal's friend has) bigger saggy boobs.
I would myself wait and save some more and get myself a pair of crackers that would last a long time and save myself a ot of heartache and worry.

And also as Crystal says, I doubt you would just be a DD from a 5/600cc implant, I have 515cc and am a 30G.

I would see a few more surgeons with different companies or privately and make decisions further down the line.

Just one more thing - if you want to be more a DD than a modest C/D and you think it would suit you ( sounds like it would) then you could probably go bigger than the implant he suggested to go with the uplift - then you would have PERKY big boobs!!

Good Luck xx

if hes suggested you need an uplift, and you dont have one, youve got no comeback if it doesnt look right afterwards.
I had sagging and had 420cc unders (because im skinny on top too) I was only borderline for an uplift but my surgeon said we could get away with just implants, but now I need a re-op with a small uplift because the skin droops over the implant.
If you have overs then you dont get that effect. It might be worth thinking about getting overs if you really dont want an uplift, as then they still droop a bit, but theyre fuller and it will be a much more natural effect than the drooping skin thing or the double bubble you risk with unders and sagging

I was an empty 34d pre-op and when I was told I should have an uplift I was devestated. I asked about just having an implant but the surgeons I saw both said that I would need a large implant to fill the skin and my boobs would eventually sag with the weight, they would also feel very heavy. I went for the uplift and only had 240cc implant and I'm more than happy with the result.

I'd think long and hard hun. xx
