where is best for fittings
hello everyone
well i have passed the 6week mark of wearing the sports bras and would like to go shopping for a few new bra's. Where is best for fittings do you think? as i have been to M&S and Debemhams in the past and were not that helpful i thought. Especially deb's as they said no longer measure the cup size you have to just try bra's on and see which you think is best. Any suggestions?

bravissimo is amazing, i didint have one near me but decided the long drive was worth it,
they were very friendly and helpful, you get to try loads on and they check each one, i couldent fault them at all,
la senza sized me totally wrong, and debenhams never had any trained staff,

Re: where is best for fittings
M&S are awfull I was in the changing rooms recently and I could hear them 'fitting' a lady for a bra, they said 'well you measure 31 under so we add 5 cos it's an odd number, which makes you a 36, but we don't have that size in stock so try this 38...!!
The woman was saying it's too loose and they weren't listening!
Fitting you in to bra without a tapemeasure how you said Debenhams did it is the correct way these days.

Personally I love bravissimo and always tend to go there for fittings. I'd never bother with M&S although they do have some nice bras. xx

Re: where is best for fittings
lol
what i can't decide is the back measurement, if i measure with a tape i get just under 35, but i know a 34 is too tight, but if i go by that way of measuring it would make me a 34g and no way would i normally fit in a 34bra, my measurement are 43" across the breast and as i said just under 35" under

Re: where is best for fittings
have you actually tried one that size? Youd be surprised.
I measure 29 under and 37 over, which makes me a 30F according to those calculations, and funnily enough its what I wear and what fits best.
Its not actually an enormous size when you couple it with a small back size. A 28F doesnt look nearly as big as a 36F

Re: where is best for fittings
I found Bravissimo and debenams the best places to fit me. They took a band measurement then I just tried bras on as some styles youll find you go up or down in the cup. I found the articles way of measuring very accurate however re the 'all on fours bit' I think someone was havind a right laugh when they suggested that!

Started as an 32a/b ended up 30dd/e. Obviously wore the wrong size back (M&S btw!) They are so much better than pre op but will never be happy if Im completely honest.

Re: where is best for fittings
Its said you generally get the same boobs as you had pre BA but bigger/fuller. I deffo did so they are still a bit sqiffy and thin skinned after breast feeding. I would just love my pre baby boobs back . Which is impossible and unrealistic which I was fully aware of but being a very harsh critic of my own bod Im honest enough to admit I will never be completely satisfied because of it. Not sure if that made sense?
You are usually advised to wait until all swelling has gone aprox 6 weeks. Its so exciting getting measured the first time.
