How many cc were you before BA?

Hope you're all good.

Size seems to be the main issue for most of us but the size you'll end up seems to be a bit of a lottery. One thing that does affect it is how much breast tissue you've got to start off with. Now how many cc do you think pre BA breasts with an A cup or a B cup equal? Xxx

Good question but have no idea, sorry? I am going through the size dilemma at moment, starting off at 32A - hoping implants of 300 cc will make me a D.

Did wonder if I could make some kind of a mould out of plaster of paris or jelly (appropriate for a jellytot1) and then measure the tiny dent in the top which would be an A cup!

Are you having unders or overs? I think you should be able to get a d frm 300cc. I went for 230cc and 260cc and currently in a 34d sportsbra. However, I was a small b so that's why I wondered how many cc I would have been before. Would be good for you pre op ladies to know. Xx

It's an interesting question but one I am not sure anyone can give an actual answer to.
I was told that for every 120 - 150cc this is roughly a cupsize BUT this varies for everyone. When I consider I was a 32B and 320cc took me to a 32DD that would indicate for every 106cc I went up a cupsize meaning my originally 32B's would have been around 212cc (AA being 0, A being 106, B being 212) But this is just purely a guess and I am not that great at maths!!

I wish there was some way we could accurately calculate this as it would be so helpful but there isn't you can get 2 ladies with the same measurements pre ba have the same implants and end up measuring different after. I went up 4 cup sizes with 310g implants. I started 32C and am now a 32F. Cookie has said previously that she downsized her implants when she had a re-op with an uplift and measured bigger after so go figure!

Interesting reading misf1. It kind of makes sense I as a full 34b/32C pre op so given those guidelines I would probably have had over 300cc so if I work using the 32 back my 310 implants have doubled the size I was so I was already 4 cupsizes up on the scale and have ended up a further 4 cupsizes along at a 32F. x

Ok so I said I would have been around 212cc (32b) and according to this study it would have been about 199cc....not a bad guess!! I don't know what 460's are supposed to take me to though? but 320cc's tripled my size. x

Sorry to be a bit dim ladies but I am struggling with this one?!?! Also, is the study in US or UK sizes?

i went up 5 or 6 cup sizes with 420cc implants which means it was 70 to 84 cc per cup size for me

Mine was very similar Abbie as I went up 4 sizes making 77.5cc per cupsize for me x

Help ladies I am struggling over the size issue right now and due my ba in 3 weeks. Had my consult and ps said that she thought anything between a 175cc to 225 would be perfect for me. I nearly panicked and said this was too small and I had been trying the rice test with 250 in them and thought this was perfect for my frame. She said its not accurate and that 250 was too big for me. My rib cage is 28 and she reckoned I had about 100cc of breast tissue there. She said if she added a 200 implant that would make me a total 300 which was big for my frame. I am really really really worried about implant size - I dont want to wake up too small and its not been worth my while!! But dont want massive obviously. She reckoned I am a 32 a and Im just wondering what size I would end up with a 225 implant or a 200 implant. I feel like im going mad and constantly have boobs on my mind. Based on these calculations you are talking about how can I work out what my hopeful cup size will be afterwards,,,,,,,, help Im driving myself nuts with this.

dimpledee - You don't at all sound like you have any confidence in what your surgeon has suggested for you based on her measurements hun. If you're that unsure about this hunni, then I can only suggest you seek another consultation from another surgeon to compare what is advised for you.

This surgery isn't something that should be rushed into and if you're at all unsure - dont do it!

You need to be 100% happy with what is planned for your surgery hun and if you're not, question it until you're convinced it's the right thing for you babe, or go look elsewhere till you find a surgeon you're happy with. xx

Thanks for your quick response. I do trust her actually I think its maybe just me , Ive just had a quick nosy on some of the before and after stats and there is a few ladies who have ended up a d with similar stats and build. No I do trust her Cookie as I said I am just driving myself nuts and tbh I think about boobs, morning, noon and night and during the night for that matter. I am going to just stop this because I think she knows her stuff and I need to just go with it :-)

Awww babe. We mostly all have last minute nerves on the build up to our BAs that's completely natural If you trust your surgeon hun, you'll be just fine :good: xx

I know how you feel dimpledee - I have been trying rice boobies and the thought of a 250 implant terrifies me, but I want to feel I have got my moneys worth - I don't mind if other people don't notice but would be devastated to go through all this stress and the effects of surgery and GA if the result isn't what I expected. I am a 32A and have my next consultation to sort out size next Wednesday - my first consultant suggested 250 cc, waiting to find out what my new consultant will suggest - he wants us to get to a satisfactory decision together!

Can I ask how tall you are and what you weigh? I am 5ft 6 in and weigh about 9stone 4lbs. x

yes Im 5 ft 4 and 8 stone. Did you try the rice on in a sports bra? Firstly I tried with a normal bra and it didnt work. Went and bought a cheap primark 32c and tried a 200 a 250 and a 300. The 250 for me was exactly what I liked the look of. Of course no one knows if its accurate - but I just mean when in that is the look I liked. When I put the 200 in and tried clothes on i looked not far off me with a gel bra on now. I just dont want to spend that much money if its wrong. BUT i need to trust my surgeon who knows best and says she will make me in proportion. Amazing the difference when clothes on.

Hi jellytot & dimpledee. I found that when I tried on the implants they looked bigger than how they've turned out as you can't position the implant how it will look when its inside you. So its just something to bear in mind because if you think it looks perfect or too big it will probably end up looking smaller once its in good luck.

And dimpledee how many consults have you had becuase if you are even a teeny bit unsure with what your surgeon has suggested I would just get a second opinion I was very happy with my 1st surgeon but ended up going with the 3rd one I saw xx

im the same height and nearly the same weight as you and had 420cc implants and they dont look massive. The implant size youve chosen will be a very subtle difference, so i wouldnt worry theyll be big

and youre not a 32A if youve got a 28 rib cage.
My ribcage is 29 and i wear a 30. 32 is massive on me.

Abbie I have been measured by 3 shops now and they have all said a 32a? I have tried the 32 on and it is not massive on me. I am a 32 a or a 30b.

does it not ride up your back?

No it doesn't although I have worn a 34a too (wrongly obviously)and it did ride up but the 32 is mega comfy and the 30 well it depends on which shop?
