Very excited! X
Just booked another appointment for this Saturday in Bristol. So as it stands now I'm seeing a PC from MYA at 10am and then seeing a PC from transform at 12. I'm going to be busy this week getting all my queries paperwork up together and ready! Have found this site amazing for everything BA related especially the consultation checklists! Was there anything you wish you'd known prior to your consultations or any tips you think might be useful for me as a total newbie? Love Dee x

Just go in remembering that the Patient Co-ordinators have no medical experience babe, they are the glorified 'sales advisors' of the company. All BA advice about surgery, implant size and placement etc should only come from a surgeon.
They basically will ask what procedure you're interested in, offer you a price and a consultation with a surgeon and it's best not to book anything until you've seen your surgeon and are 100% happy.
Ask if it's possible to request a list surgeons for you to research yourself rather than them choosing a surgeon for you to enable you to choose who you want to see hun after doing your own checks and feeling happy with your choice, then to be able to book a consultation with the surgeon of 'your choice' hun.
This is an exciting time indeed! Enjoy it babe!

Hi Deedee - did you know you can have your surgery at a private surgery in Bristol or Bath and not have to go to London? - not sure how the prices compare but that is the option I am going for - have had consultations at Circle Hospital just outside Bath and have another one at the Bath Clinic on Wednesday. Will prob have surgery at Nuffield in Bristol because the surgeon I will prob go with hasn't got space at Bath Clinic just before Xmas.
This way my husband can take me to the hospital and pick me up the next day without taking whole days off work or staying overnight in hotel in London waiting for me.
Good luck with your consultations x

This is a good point DeeDee...I personally had no idea until I read a post else where from Jellytot1 I wish I had known, I would have liked to at least have a chat with them and find out costs. I went with MYA at Bristol and my PC is Amy although I speak to Louise a lot. Be interested to hear your thoughts on MYA x
