Not Long to go now!!!
Only a few days to my op now(tuesday)and really excited.Saw my surgeon again yesterday and had a tour round the hospital and one of the rooms.Think my admission time is 7.30 a.m on Tuesday but my op won't be untill after midday as he has a very large op to do before mine. They will confirm this with me definately the day before.Think i'm going out to get myself a book-i'll need something to pass all that time-and the lack of nicotine i'll be having!!!

Re: Not Long to go now!!!
The build up is such an exciting time isn't it! The best part of your boobie journey I feel!
Take some magazines in with you too hun. I took a book with me but just couldn't hold my concentration long enough to get through a page! Which frustrated me as I love reading.
Thank goodness I took some magazine in with me too though, just being able to mindlessly flick through the pages and look through the pics was a blessing. xx

I had no concentration. I got through a chic lit book when I was in and can't really remember what happened lol. I'm a big reader so didn't take magazines, and wish I had. Anaesthetist came to check on my about 2 hours post op and found me trying to read, I couldn't even focus lol

Re: Not Long to go now!!!
Good luck for Tuesday daisymay - I have just realised reading all the suggestions of magazines and books to pass the time, that I always nibble while I am reading, crisps, sweets, grapes, nuts etc - so I will be struggling in hospital waiting for op, while nil by mouth!

Re: Not Long to go now!!!
Yay it's nearly boobie day!
I took a book and just like the others couldn't concentrate. Read my mags but then settled for some tv. My admission time was 12...went down at 5:30. I was proper bored!

Don't worry, you'll be FAR to excited to worry about the lack of nibbles! All the best for the op.
