Advice please - think implant has turned
Hello ladies, hoping you can help.
I had my BA 3 weeks ago, 270cc anatomical under the muscle. Right side is absolutely fine, looks lovely, left is not so good! Not so full at the bottom and very full at the top - thought it was just swelling at first but now convinced the implant has turned. Surgeon saw me at 1 week post op and nurse at 2 weeks, neither was concerned but I think then it was a lot more swollen. I am seeing surgeon next week but am freaking out about the prospect of more surgery. Can anyone tell me what would be involved and what recovery would be like compared to first surgery?
Thanks so much for any advice.

Re: Advice please - think implant has turned
Try not not to get too carried away at the moment hun, you're only 3 weeks post op and it's quite possible you have one breast settling before the other leaving one higher and more swollen just now - This is not unusual and happens very often in BA recovery.
Go see your surgeon next week babe and see what they have to say.
In the meantime I'm sending a hug and a big welcome to BJSF. xx

More good advice from cookie. It's hard but try not to worry too much and remember you're very early in recovery.

Re: Advice please - think implant has turned
Hi hun don't panic you are very early days and things can/do look odd at the beginning. I am not sure what would be involved in surgery if the implant has turned but our resident surgeon James often uses anatomical implants so I m sure he would be able to give you some advice on the matter.

Re: Advice please - think implant has turned
Sorry it's taken me ages to say thanks for the advice. I saw my surgeon as planned and he wasn't worried at all. Thinks the implant just needs to drop down which he said could happen soon or in the coming months. Even if he did end up having to do a revision he has said it would be day surgery and much much easier and quicker recovery, Phew!
Thanks again. x
