Time gap...
Hiya, me again! Just wondering how long it was for each of you between your last consultation when u booked ur BA and the actual op day? I've got my first meeting with my PC (think that's way we call them!) a week tomorrow, I'm getting sooooo excited now! And I'm wondering wat the chances are of having my boobies done before Xmas. Love Dee x

It sounds like it might be possible then! If there's spaces of course! Thanks ladies for sharing. I'm going to the Bristol Transform clinic to meet my PC so fingers crossed things can get rolling pretty soon! Im hoping to go with dr khan. I've heard alot of good things about him. Xx

Re: Time gap...
I booked my surgery date the day I saw my surgeon back in June, I opted for the last available date in October I could have dates in July had I wanted to just go for it but I had to still do some serious saving! x

Re: Time gap...
i had my consultation end of february, and my op, towards the end of july, so nearly 5 months.
I did it that way because i wanted to book for the beginning of the long school holiday to give myself time to recover without having to go on school runs pushing pushchairs etc

Mine was about a month with the company I went with if I'd gone with one of the other companies I'd shortlisted I could have had it done sooner if I'd wanted
I wanted it so I had the last bit of the school hols to recover wothout totally ruining them for my kids x

Re: Time gap...
I think one of the clinics told me you had to have a certain length of time in between your first and second appointments with consultants as a sort of cooling off period. I am really hoping to have mine done just before Xmas but am having trouble finding a surgeon with space available - so it may depend on whether you are going for a private local hospital (which I am) or a bigger national company with more options and surgeons available. Good luck with your first appointment. x

Re: Time gap...
i only had one consultation appointment and i had to wait for approval of the finance but basically if i had it staright away i would of had it sooner, but still i called my ps and he booked me in 13 days later. he doesnt like leaving his patients waiting, between 2 and 4 weeks.

Re: Time gap...
I had my first consultation 30th March and had my op booked for 19th May. I could have had it done quicker but I was off on my hols in May so decided to wait until afterwards! Like the other girls, I could have had it done quicker if I wanted to.
Transform have a policy where you must have a 24 hour cooling off period from your consultation until you book.
