The 'Search'

Hello,

I was just wondering why when you do a search is doesn’t bring up all the topics?

Is this because it just brings up a search from only so far back?

Just thought it would be helpful to find out info on who has been with the same surgeons or hospital.

If there is another way please let me know!

I think the search tool is a standard ap to the server and can't be tweaked hunni. If it seems it only goes back so far then that's all we have hun. Sorry. xx

Ok I did wonder if I was just being silly! Kept looking for an advanced search!

It appears it only goes back a few months.

That’s a shame, never mind still a good forum!

Oh I have found advanced search!! :good: Didnt click the link at the top of the page .... Blush

It goes back 1 year.

Oh I see its not very old then.

Still doesnt seem to be bringing up every post that mentions the words I am using!

I only noticed as I am looking for Spire nowich and Elaine sassoon. I looked in the topic started and found two people who have been with her now that mention it in posts but they didnt come up in search! Odd!

Expect its me being dizzy! :dunno:

Are you using the search on the main home page, or the one in the specific forum?

Main home page, Searching all topics.

The only post it brings up is the one I posted!

Its ok I will just have a good root around.

Try going into the specific forum (e.g plastic surgeons and clinics) and see if it brings up more
