Re: when to go back to the gym
Yep as long as you don't lift any weights or use your arms (eg cross trainer) you'll be fine. I went back to the gym about 3 weeks after my original BA and 2 weeks after my reop I did a spin class (just missed out the press up bits on the bike). Listen to your body, don't go mad and if something doesn't feel right then stop. Common sense really xx

Re: when to go back to the gym
I was told i could start cardio whenever i felt like it just no lifting until the 6 week mark. So i started cardio on Monday. Didn’t hurt at all just felt tight across my chest when my heart rate jumped up.

If your worries why don’t you jump on the bike at least that gets you moving and burning calories and there is no chance of harming your boobies

Re: when to go back to the gym
Im pretty sure most people are told not to do cardio for a few weeks, as raising your heartrate too much during the early stages of healing can be harmful. Most people are told 4 to 6 weeks for any sort of cardio exercise
I went back after 4 weeks to do walking on an incline, but didnt do any running till 6 weeks. its best to stick to what your own surgeon tells you

I am with you on that one! I am sure I have gained a bit already, but I am afraid to get on the scales! I plan on dropping my carbs after the weekend just until I can start back to regular cardio sessions. I was hoping I could start back a bit at 2 weeks but I am going to wait another week or so as I am still tender underneath.
Let us know how u go when u start back!

you could prob use cross trainer if you just used legs - this is what I do anyway as can't do arms because of frozen shoulder.
