im having a re-op
i spoke to my surgeon today about the bit of excess skin on my left side and he agreed and wants to do a donut lift as a free re-op.
Im pleased in one sense and frightened in another.

Re: im having a re-op
Hi Abbie
Good news he's doing it for free, can I ask why he didn't do it when you had your op a couple of months ago, so everything was done in one op?

Re: im having a re-op
well i havent really said about it because my boobs were so awful before, i kind of thought maybe i was just expecting too much. He said he didnt think the implant had dropped enough either.
Im frightened because its more surgery and the recovery all over again

Re: im having a re-op
Awww sorry you're having to go through with a re-op sweetness but pleased it can all be sorted - Big hugs for you xx
Re: im having a re-op
ill definitely stay with partials. I dont have thick enough skin or enough breast tissue for overs, otherwise he would have done those in the first place. You could always see my ribs through my breasts before i had implants, i had that little tissue.
Im really pleased he said they would do it as a free re-op. I was expecting them to say i would have to pay

Re: im having a re-op
Thats great news! If it is just a nipple lift the recovery should not be that bad, as the lift part of my recent op has been absolutely no problem, and I am so happy to have my nipples in the right place.
So good luck I am sure it will b worth it!

Re: im having a re-op
Hi abbie...sorry to hear that your needing another op but pleased to hear that the problem is getting sorted...hey, a little 'nip and tuck' and they'll be perfect.
I dont really know much about any kind of lift ...out of curiosity, will you be having the procedure done on both breasts or just lefty? also, when you say a little excess skin on underside of the boob, is it slight sagging? Thats what i have mostly on my left boob...Im going bigger to rectify this...x

Re: im having a re-op
hes going to do it on my right as well, even though its not strictly necessary on that breast, but there is a tiny amount of loose skin, and he wants the scarring to be even

Re: im having a re-op
i know. There was no quibble at all. He just said he didnt feel completely happy with it either and that was the risk we took going under the muscle, but that i just didnt have enough tissue for overs

Re: im having a re-op
I'm sorry to read that you weren't 100% happy with your BA Abbie, it must be upsetting after you built yourself up for the op. But the out come over the re-op is really positive and they seems to be acting very quickly for you. It is very good news and I'm very pleased that MyBreast have upheld their aftercare policy. That's always good to hear that a company stays true to their word.
I hope that you don't get to stressed about the re-op although I know I would be Kakking myself as well. It's just another step to the boobs that you originally wanted.
Just one more step be brave x
