oh my god, it's so confusing isn't it? I am trying to decide between 260s and 300s but I am having an uplift aswell. I am not doing this to have big boobies, just to have nice, pert, full ones! The surgeon thinks that once I have the uplift I will be a B cup so if I have 260s that will take me to approx a full D cup which is probably around what I want to be. But I am still deliberating over whether to get the 300s! He did say though that he prefers smaller implants when doing an uplift as well because they will last longer - the larger the implants the quicker you will sag again! xx

The back of my bra says our E is a US size F so British cupsizes are bigger x

if you look on all the US surgeons sites with pictures, the size of implants that they say give a D, would be the size that generally would give an F or a G in this country.
I also have noticed that Dolly Parton is supposed to be a 40 DD cup, which is considered enormous, and she does have whopping hooters, and im pretty sure she wouldnt be measured as a DD here.
From what I can work out in the US, if a D or a DD doesnt fit, you just go up band sizes till you can get it on

Here's a link that shows the differences between cup sizes between the U.S. and U.K. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

It goes D, DD, DDD, then G. DD is the same as your DD, and our DDD is your E, our G is your F, and so on.

Morning all!

Well, I had my op last week Wednesday (06/10). I stuck with the 280 he recommended. At first I was very disappointed, as it seemed I should have chosen the 300, but since then they have been settling a lot, and I must say I am exstatic! Very very happy with them, didn't want them huge, just bigger and natural, end that is just what I got. Thanks for all the advise!! xx

Pleased to hear your op went ok and you're pleased with results. I have my first consultation today and am hoping for 300 cc. x

Thanks! Yip, I just decided to stick to my PS's advice. He has a very good repitation, known as the Natural Looking PS! He won't do any op if he does not agree a person is 'too small', not in it for the money, but really just to 'help'! :-)
