Too big???
Hhmm am slightly confused... Have browsed a bit here and read a few stories etc. In my consult I was recommended 550cc to bring me to dd but this seems alot bigger than most people get. Can anybody help... Don't want beach balls!!!! Is 550 HUGE??

Re: Too big???
550 seem big to me, but i only had 260 overs which has taken me to a 36/38 e f not sure yet as not been measured, but we are all different love, if that's what your surgeon has recommended you to be a dd then they should be right, it depends on how much breast tissue you have to start with :) just ask again next time you go to set your mind at ease.

Re: Too big???
Are u in the UK or US? It seems to me that there are different sizes between the countries... not positive though.
Also how tall are you? Your measurements including your chest wall and breast width make a difference too.
I am tall and broad and I am getting 500cc as encouraged by my ps and I dont think they will look huge on me at all... I am aiming for a DD.
Good luck!

Re: Too big???
I'm just over 5 "7 and am quite broad so tha's prob why he suggested that. I'm in ireland so same as uk sizes. It's good to hear somebody else getting the same size I was getting worried :good: thanks for the advice. Am goons have some more consults anyway to be positive! Better to be overly prepared!

Re: Too big???
one of the main things that determines implant size is breast width diameter - it sounds to me like you probably have wide breasts and to get the results you want a large implant is needed to fill the breast width. Don't panic because it sounds big hun - your surgeon knows what he is talking about he is an expert! If you are unsure perhaps speak to him again about size and make sure he knows exactly the result you are after xx

Re: Too big???
I too started to panic when I saw most girls getting 250-400cc and here I was gettn 500's! But yes as Hattie says breast width is a big determinate... I think mine is 16 or 16.5 which is wide and puts me in a smaller category of implant size choises and profile choices I am havn a moderate profile because its wider where a high profile wont work on me because its too narrow.
Dont stress, u do have to trust your ps xx

Re: Too big???
Size of implant and result vary so widely because it's all dependent on your anatomy hun. Your surgeon knows what look you want so trust him.

Re: Too big???
I had 615, I did want big boobs but also I think my chest is quite broad so they don't look huge dressed, I was told 525 would make me a DD maybe E by 2 surgeons, it's all down to your own body so your surgeon is in the best position to advise.

Re: Too big???
Like the ladies have said it also depends on what implants will fit you best. If you have a wider chest and had something narrow you wouldn't look right. What bra size do you wear now? : )

Re: Too big???
mmmmm that is very interesting as i have just had had 270cc overs and the surgeon said this should make me a DD however when i look at them they dont look big, I am small framed tho or so everyone tells me. Am starting to think should i have gone bigger.I suppose i wont know until i get measured properly in about 4-5weeks time.

Re: Too big???
I am a 36/38b now, I also have slightly tubular boobs so they look kind of narrow and droopy. The ps advised full projection also so I thought they mite look weird?? I don't wanna get them and wish I went bigger as DL said. Oh jus confused....

Re: Too big???
yea it is confusing as to what size to get, and i suppose you never really know until you had the op and everything settles down and you get measured. good luck with you op x

Re: Too big???
Carlito mine are Extra full projection, so I could've gone for a smaller size but the same width if I'd gone for Full or Medium, I suppose it comes down to personal preferance. Or maybe it's something to do with correcting your tuberous breasts why the surgeon has chosen full projection for you?
You can always get a second opinion from another surgeon to see if they recommend the same thing. That's what I did, even though I was happy with the first one I saw, I just wanted to double check. xx

Re: Too big???
I think sometimes you just have an image in your head of what you want to look like and sometimes that is just not possible. Like many others have said prev your surgeon knows best i suppose, if you think of how many of these ops that they have done am sure they know what they are talking about. Also sure they know about what looks gud on what body shapes and sizes??? thats what I keep telling myself anyway. ha
