Am I the oldest having a BA?
Just wondered if anyone is as old as me ........ ssssh I am 45 - will be 46 just after Xmas, so hoping to get new boobies for a joint Xmas and Birthday pressie (normally hate it when my presents get combined, but will make an exception this time).
I just wonder if I am too old and have left it too late - over the years I must have sent off for 5 or 6 brochures from various companies but have never continued - probably due to cost.
When my husband took some before pictures of me last weekend I looked at them and thought maybe the rest of my body isn't that good anymore. But my husband says it is better to regret that I didn't have it done 15 + years ago, rather than regret never having it done at all.
Has anyone else every felt like this?

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
I don't think your alone Jellytot infact I know your not!! so ok your a little older than me (I am 31) but there are lots of ladies who ummm and arrhh about taking the leap especially after babies/breast feeding which will quite often mean they are a little older when they finally get around to doing something for themselves. You are certainly NOT too old and you haven't left it too late! I say go for it, your husband is so right! x x x

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
I was looking through BA photo's lastnight and there was a woman having hers replaced at 71!!! So in answer to your question, no.
You're never too old, lots of women in their 40's get BA surgery, what's age got to do with anything?! xx

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
well i am 43 jellytot. in fact 44 in november so u r only slightly older than me. i think there are alot of young women on here (lucky things!) but when u reach your mid 40's u dont actually feel that 'old' do you, although things are defo not as firm as they used to be!!!! (my new boobs excluded of course ) now i think they are the ONLY firm thing LOL!!!
i say doesnt matter what your age is, if you want it done then do it! good luck to u

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
Hi jellytot...im 40 next year and due for re-op, and if these new ones need replacing in years to come,50s,60s i will have them re-done. Of course your not too old, after all, your merely enhancing your figure so you go for it! I spent most of my 20s and 30s unhappy with my boobs (an empty A cup after breast feeding 5 kids) and thought about ba for years. I finally got it done 3 years ago and felt more feminine than i had in years. My only regret, despite problems due to pips, is not getting it done sooner. Hey...am sure your husband will appreciate your new assets too!...I know mine did!..xx

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
Sweetheart I was also 45 when I had my op, I thought just like you that perhaps I was too old and should just keep buying the wonderbras, but after alot of research I found that plenty of 'more mature' ladies have them done, so thought why not me.....and.... it was money well spent. Don't give it another thought hunni, just go for it. xx

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
Alfie - your 45??? You have got to be kidding me, I thought you were mid 20's judging by your avi pic. Congrats on having a fab bod!
To the OP - there are a fair few ladies on here over 40, I don't think you're ever too old to want to improve your self-confidence and do something like this. Congrats on taking the plunge into the world of boobies! xxx

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
I'm 34 and wondered if I was too old until I read that the average age of people having a BA is 35. I nearly talked myself out of it as I'd put up with the old ones all these years I thought the money could be better spent on umpteen things.
I wrote a list of pros and cons and I know this is going to sound really bad but one of the the things on my list was my friend split up with her husband not long ago and I thought what if that was me I'd be embarrassed to get mine out infront of someone new or my boobies disappear when my bra came off so it was a future investment aswell terrible I know but who she didn't see it coming when he ran off with a 23 year old either
But back to your question I say you go for it girl you are never too old to follow your dreams xx

Hey hunni
This was exactly the first question I asked when I was looking into a BA aged nearly 40. I had the op 3 weeks before my 40th, and I'm 42 now. DEFFO (with a capital D) not too old to have it done. Go for it babe. xxxx

Re: Am I the oldest having a BA?
Thank you so much for your positive comments, I will definitely be having them done - I have to now as I plucked up courage to tell my mum and was really surprised that her reaction wasn't too bad.
Have booked a gym induction for Thursday so I can work on the flabby stomach before the BA and maybe then I can get the whole body as I would like it.
Only 8 days til I have my first consultation and thanks again for your support. x
