Re: any 1 know ?
Hi hun!
I didn't go in until about 7pm either as i think there had been an emergency -it was a long wait but they gave me some sedatives so i slept for a couple of hours as they knew i would be waiting a long time. I would advise taking magazines/books/laptop etc but most people don't have a long wait, I'm sure you will be fine!
P.S. please try not to use a lot of 'text language' as it can be quite difficult for people to read. thanks hun!

Re: any 1 know ?
I had to check in for my BA at 7:00am, seen my surgeon just after I checked in and was in theatre by 8:30am, which might seem a while but by the time you check in, pick the food you want for lunch, see your surgeon, settle into your room, speak to the nurse, sign your forms, get measured for stockings, get changed into gown and see the anethnatist (spelling is awful), the time really can fly by.

I checked in at 8am and was in theatre at 12. Take lots of magazines/a book to read or maybe your laptop. It is a bit of a wait but you have to settle into room, pick your food, go through questions with the nurse, see the surgeon, see anaesthetist and go through same questions with him, and sign consent, then get changed into gown. I know some girls ask for a sedative when they get there so control their nerves.

It depends who you go with but I had to get to hospital at 11am and was done about 1.30, it seemed really quick cos the nurse comes round, and the aneasthetist, and the surgeon, and you get changed and then I was down to theatre and done!

Your lucky to have an admission time already Pamela most people I know don't get their time until a couple of days before...maybe a week if they are lucky! I am booked in for the end of the month and have no time as yet. Glad you got it all sorted though hun. x

Re: any 1 know ?
I'm from Bristol so my op will be in Highgate London. I am booked for the 30th of this month not November BUT we can still talk boobies!!! I am only 2 weeks ahead of you lol!! I had my consultation back in June so this wait has seemed like forever but I needed it to be as late as possible but before Christmas so I could save the money in time!!
I'll have a look at your clinic, right now!! x

Re: any 1 know ?
I am a little nervous at times but I find that coming on here is my savior....I am probably way too obsessed with this site but like you I am glued!
Bless your heart - you've waited a long time for this then! I say go for it, if after 14 years you are still wanting new boobs I'd say you have had long enough to think it through. You should start a diary honey, I just have and am looking forward to just off loading information/feelings/thoughts as when they come - knowing they'll all be in one place when I did to refer back is reassuring to! x
