How soon until I can go out!?
Hi Everyone,
I'm booked in for my op next Wednesday (woop woop) and I'm just wondering how soon after do you think I'd be able to go out? It's mine and my boyfriends one year anniversary and also have a friends birthday, which I can imagine will be messy, two weeks after my op.
I know everyones recovery is different but am just wondering how everyone else felt 2 weeks after and if you think I'll be capable of a night round the town! lol. xx

I was fine after 2 weeks hun. Don't think I could have handled a heavy night on the tiles, but you'll know yourself how your bod is feeling. Just need to find a nice top or dress that covers the oh so attractive sports bra ;)

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
I'm alright at 10 days but still quite achey from not sleeping normally and stuff so I'd be able to handle going out but probably not a long long night on my feet.
Good luck covering up the sports bra lol xxx

You'll probably have more trouble covering the lovely sports bra than managing the night out

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
My bday is 3 weeks post op and I'm planning a big bash. Also want to reveal my new assets to my friends. I am hoping that I could possibly NOT wear the sports bra just for the night? I wanna wear a strapless dress :(. Is it vital to wear the sports bra? I'm only not gonna wear it for a few hours.

Oh i would love to know the answer to Emmyloo87 question too! i have my cousins wedding 2.5 weeks after my operation and was wondering if i could possibly not wear my attractive sports bra for a few hours? i mean i would wear a boob-tube (not underwire) bra under my strapless dress? do you think it would be ok?

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
Sorry girls but you get told to wear your sports bra 24/7 for a reason. Obviously its up to you what you do but everytime anyone has asked all the girls on here say the same thing you shoulod wear your sports bra for as long as is recommended by your own surgeon. I got myself a nice little cap sleeved minidress for my night out boobs in legs out xx

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
I was very tempted not to wear the sports bra for a few hours on a night out but the ladies on here all told me what I already knew - I paid a lot of money for boobs and wanted the best recovery for them, that means wearing your sports bra as advised. You'll have lots of time to show off your new assets once you're healed and recovered

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
Yeah you are right, i dont want to spend all that money and go through all that pain only to ruin it by not wearing it for a few hours! i will just have to find a cute dress that will hide the bra :)
thanks for the advice!

I like ur idea peachey "boobs in legs out" lol. I would much rather have my boobs look good long term and not ruin them just for a night out. Thanks ladies :)

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
Hi sweetie,
I had my hubbys dads big 60th b-day ball to go to 10 days after my op and i was fine......I didnt drink alcohol as i dosed up on painkillers just incase i struggled. but i honestly felt fine & it was a hole day thing! it strated at 12 lunchtime at his house for 4 hours then up Trinity Park for the ball at 7.00pm & it didnt finsh till 3 in the morning!
The only thing i did struggle with was the 'drunk' people who thought that it was a great idea to swing me around the dance floor ( even though i told them i had a tummy op!) & my hubby would rush over & save me!
I was still in a sports bra & had my stitches covered with steri strips for extra protection but i managed to fine a stunning dress from riverisland that covered my sports bra & looked fantastic.....took a while to find thou so i did start to panic a bit!
You'll kNow your limits & if you thinkyou could cope then you'll probably be fine.
I had a plan that if i felt really bad i make my reason up & go home!

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
Thanks a lot crystal :). Big help. I'm just gonna see how sexy this sports bra is first and work a hot yet skimpy dress around it lol. I guessi was just hoping to flaunt them for my bday but maybe I'll save that for new years lol

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
I agree you probably won't even want to without your sports bra, especially in a strapless dress it'd feel like it's pulling down on your new boobs so soon after the op, ouch! You don't want to damage them while they're healing. xx

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
I've been 'boobs in, legs out' for so long. I cant wait to do the reverse lol.
I've got a long sleeved number for when I go out. It's just a cheapy from Primark but it will tied me over until the twins are ready to be displayed haha.

Re: How soon until I can go out!?
I was told not to drink till 2 weeks and then limited. However, I couldn't have had a night out at 2 weeks but I was an uplift also. x
