strange pains
hiya girls im getting some strange pains and i dont no what it is,
its just on my right boob, there like sharp stabbing pains,
ive had the ususal pins and needles where i no the nerves are knitting back togther, and that stopped a long time ago but this is unusal, im over 3 months now and wondering what it could be,
if i lay on my side in bed so my boob touches the bed it happens alot, and does it during the day at times also,

Re: strange pains
Hi Bumblelady,
If you are really worried, maybe contact your surgeon/nurse. I know with mine i had little pains including sharp ones for about 6 months, i had overs so dont know if that would make a difference or not. I also had a lot of sensitivity underneith and on my nipples for up to a year. Sorry i cant be much help xx

Re: strange pains
I did get sharp shooting pains every now and again for quite a while, they could take my breath away and wake me up at night. It was just nerves knitting back together.
Re: strange pains
I too have had rogue pains every now and then xx

Re: strange pains
I've had some sharp shooting pains sometimes. Like misf1 they can take my breath away, I am assuming they are just nerves knitting back together.

Re: strange pains
I had my post op check with my surgeon last week and he did say it can take up to a year for the nerves to repair themselves. I also have quite oversensitive nipples which he said was also down to nerves repairing themselves.

Re: strange pains
I did too hun and still do sometimes. about a month ago i got really bad pains in my left and was really worried, I then realised it was because i had started using the rowing machine and as I had unders it must have affected my muscle it went after a few days though. If you are worried hun talk to your surgeon - or maybe ask James if he thinks this is normal at this stage? xx

Re: strange pains
it sounds like its normal then if you all had the same after that amount of time,
i just thought after 3 months you dont get any more pains, so it suprised me,
