what size implants do I need to get 32DD?
Hi just went for my first ever visit to a specialist Bra shop - (normally just dash into Primark and grab a gel bra), asked the lady for advise on what size she thought I could go up to without looking like Jordan.
I tried on a 32C, then a 32D and then a 32DD! and it looked great - obviously I didn't buy the bra, but how do I now work out what size implant I need to get a 32DD - is there a formula or is there anyone else who went from a 32A to 32DD or do I just need to measure out rice as I read about on here somewhere?
I promised the bra shop lady I would be back in about February next year, to show her the result and to buy my first proper bra (other than the first bra that my mum bought from M & S size 30AA, when I was 13 - which I probably never grew out of!!

Re: what size implants do I need to get 32DD?
Its really hard to say what size implant you would need as everyone is different. So even if you had the same size implant as another girl who started out your size then you still may not end up the same size. There are so many factors that can effect the end result. The best person to advise you on implant size is a surgeon but even they will not work in cup size.
It maybe best to stop focusing so much on cup size and to have a clear image of the look you are after. Take pictures to your surgeon of the look you want and this gives them a good idea of the 'look' you are trying to acheive. xx

Re: what size implants do I need to get 32DD?
hi hun, i agree with pinkbabe, you just can't tell what size you will be. i asked to be a DD and got a FF but to me mine look a DD?? it's so confusing. So I would go to a few consultations, take pics of famous people or cut them out from lads mags, and show your surgeon the look you are after.

Hun it's impossible to tell just by the number of cc's
I just had 300ccs which is considered a relitavely
small implant I've just been measured as a 30gg!!
An my surgeon said I'd be. A c/ d cup
so even they don't know
it's just going by how the implant feels in your bra
don't worry and about the letters and numbers
go by the look shape and feel ;-)
that's the best advice I can give u princess
good luck with ur ba XXXXXXX

Like the others have said, it's impossible to predict size. Pinkbabe is right in saying get an idea of the look you want and take pictures in. And do stop fixating on numbers and letters, it's all about getting a look you're happy with.
We all have different stats, anatomy, tissue, etc, etc. GP had a smaller implant than me and has bigger boobies, it's not a science with cup size.

Thanks for your replies and I will just have to wait to see consultant, see what he says and look at implants. I did try rice boobies at weekend and 300 gm rice felt massive but then it was only in a normal bra as I haven't got sports bra.
Also looked for 32DD bras on high street at weekend - very few shops do them, so would have to go to specialists shops which are lovely but bit more pricey!
