Any regrets over size?

I am considering what size implants to have. I am a size 34b and looking at 390-410 cc. I dont want to look fake, but want pert full breasts. The surgeon tells me I should be around a D/DD after, but doing the rice test I am concerned they will look too big.
I have often heard it said that most girls if they regret anything, it tends to be they wish they had gone bigger. I wonder if this is true?
Would love to hear any comments on this and if anyone wishes they had either gone for larger implants or smaller ones because they were too big.

I dont regret my implants or wish I'd gone bigger. Size is a very personal choice and I think its very important to work closely with your PS when deciding what size you want and if your PS thinks you will achieve a D/DD and this is the size you want then you should take their advice on board.

The rice test has mixed reviews and it really is only a very rough way of getting an idea of what your boobs could look like. xx

i was the same size as you hun and asked for what you want. i had 420 cc and unders , im just over 2 weeks and am in love with them best thing i did x but glad i waited till after my babies now they wont get ruined lol!

i am going to have 410 unders and was told this would make me a dd (am a 34b/c) when i did the rice test i thought that they were small, but i am trusting my ps and doing wat he says. besides my 15 year old daughter is an e,lucky mare.lol and i i filled her bra with the rice and it was rather large lol..

mine are a little bigger than i was hoping for, but im still happy with them

I SOMETIMES think i should have gone bigger but then i snap back to reality. Before i had my boob job i would look at my friends and their boobs looked massive compared to mine and i would wish mine were that big. Now ive had mine done they feel smaller but when i look at other people they are actually bigger than how i percieve them to be and bigger than peoples i once thought were massive! I think we just start looking at too many boob job boobs and forget what 'real' boobs actually look like. So all in all i am really happy with the size i chose and when i have a push up bra on especially they look huge! p.s i dont think mine look fake Xxxx

im the same! My best friend is a natural 34FF and I always thought her boobs were HUGE, but now i dont think theyre that big anymore since I had mine done

Yeah, I wish I'd listened to my surgeon and gone for the 380s instead of having a panic thinking they would be too small and insisting on 410s. I do still think my boobs are a little too large for my frame, not so large like the 460s I had that all you see is my boobs now, but still, ideally, I'd like them a little smaller. xx

I don't regret my size as such but cld have got away with a lot smaller! It's not always the case that girls wish they'd gone bigger. Pinkbabe hit the nail on the head when she said it's a personal thing that needs to be considered closely with your surgeon.

i can't ever regret not going bigger, because i had no choice in the matter anyway. my 280cc implants were the biggest that my little body could safely take. my new boobies aren't big at all. i'm very happy with them and they look natural. i just feel soooo lucky that i actually have boobies now. wooo hooo!

Hi, I would like to have gone bigger than 360cc, but i had no choice, when i did the rice boobies they looked really big, but my boobies look smaller than the DD ive been measured, but i do now love my boobies, and if the fluff fairy should visit i would be ecstatic

i do that too littlewisher. i think we get used to looking at big boobs and forget we have our own big boobs now

I wish I went bigger. I am focusing on saving for a re-op by next summer but I am starting to like them more everyday since thier settling more. I am going to keep focused on my goal of saving and I bet by the time it comes, I will change my mind (since they will be settled all the way) and I will have a nice shopping spree account! whatever happens, I'm excited.

I started out a B cup and now measure an F BUT I only look a good C small D in clothes and I've developed abit of boob greed...I do wish I had gone a little bit bigger maybe 350ish x

I think I've got used to mine way too quickly as I keep looking at them from the front and thinking I could have gone bigger but then I see them from the side and think bl*ody hell when I see how much they stick out lol x

If I'm honest I wish I'd gone a little bigger too!! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my boobs but I'd just like then a tiny bit bigger. When I take my clothes off! I'm like 'wow' yet when I have got my clothes on I don't think I look that big. I think in my own mind I kinda thought I'd be like 'oh my god I've got HUGE boobies but I really don't feel they're that huge!!

Perhaps, it's like the girls have said - you do so much research and everyone elses boobs look bigger yet when you look at your own, you don't see what others see if you know what I mean??

Or maybe it's cos I'm so used to thinking I've got tiny boobs that my brain is finding it adjust??

Maybe I'll change my mind once I've been measured and in proper bras rather than the horrible support bras??

I had so many worries about size pre BA, I was offered 340 & 380 but when discussing with my surgeon we finally agreed on 410 as I just didn't think the others would be big enough when I tried them and I felt comfortable the 410 would give me the look I was after, so I went with my gut instinct and my ps warned me about the possible complications of the slightly bigger implant and that he would not go any bigger. It's when I got home and started worrying and over thinking, first I was scared they would be too big and I'd look like jordan and then I was worried they would be too small. I realised I was being silly thinking I'd look like Jordan as her implants were much bigger than mine. So I decided I'dgo withmy gut instinct and if they looked slightly bigger than theboobs I had in mind I could live with it, but I know I would have been upset if they looked smaller. I am very glad I went with my gut instinct and had a discussion with my ps, as my boobs are the perfect size for me. Sometimes I think maybe I would go bigger if I have them done again, but only to make the implant wider so I could get a better cleavage. Then again I'm so happy with them. I'd go with your gut. As forthe rice test mine looked huge (which made me worry I'd look like Jordan) but they dont look as bigas the rice test I did, quite a bit smaller in fact

I went for 460's and I don't regret it. I filled a 36C before my BA, but all skin and no volume. I'm now a lovely bouncy 36F, but I don't think they look huge at all. I'm a size 12 and 5'8" - I think they suit me perfectly. I'm so in love with my new boobies.

i deffo love my 410cc its perfect for me..i was a v small 34b before op after two kids
my surgeon said i will be a D/DD when im fully healed im wearing a 34D sports bra with bra extender at the mo..my nurse told me to up my size to a 36D but it was just to slack on my back so i got extenders for now

Cja - I agree that there's a mental adjustment. We get so used to thinking we gVe tiny boobies it's hard to make the switch to thinking we have big boobies

Hey up chuck! I was give the choice of 3 if i remember correctly they ranged fro 280 to 330 (i think)! I chose 330 and i love them. Day to day people wouldn't know if i had had my op or not, because they look right for my frame. But when i wear a low cut top it is like "wowza" they look bigger. Had some pics done at the weekend and they look a good size. I became accustomed to them very quickly so you forget that they weren't always a part of you, and it takes seeing yourself in a photo to think, goodness me! i have boobage xoxoxoxo

I have heard a lot of people say the rice test isnt very accurate, ive never tried it myself. When i went in for my original consultation i tried on some implants and thought they would be too big but once they were in it was completely different.
I was a 34B and had 335 overs which took me to a 34D/DD, sometimes an E, but they didnt look huge, i have a medium frame so i guess i can get away with it.
If you are confident you have explained well and your PS has understood what you would like, i would trust what they say, i did and i am happy for it. Good luck xxx

Thats very helpful Vix. I have tried 400cc implants in my 34b bra and they seem huge, but I guess that might be because you cant get the implant right underneath the boob to get a realistic idea. Thanks xx.
