Bio Oil

Does anyone know when you can start using bio oil ? or any kind of moisturiser ?

i was told at my 1st weekly check up i could start massaging scar around 3-4 weeks hun but probly depends on how your healing x
i have got to go back in 2 weeks and then she will advise me what to do and when but im not to touch scars at all yet xx

Hi I've been told I can put moisturiser on the scars after 6 weeks to help with the dryness but not to touch them before that. I've put moisturiser on the top of my boobs. My skin has gone so dry since my op even my hairdresser said my scalp was really dry! Probably all the medication xx

i was told ar 6 weeks i could use it on my scars not before xxxx

You can use bio-oil/moisturiser on your 'boobs' now hun, but don't use anything near your scarring until you've been given the all clear by your PS. If you use anything on your scars before they're fully healed and checked by your PS you put yourself at risk of infection sweetie. xxx
