hard boobies Empty hard boobies

Did anyone elses boobs start off ok for the first week or so and then go rock hard? Mine had some squidge to them until today and now I feel like I've got two rocks stapped to my chest and they look a bit odd too not swollen I know it sounds wierd but they look hard : ( x

Hi hun, maybe the squidge was swelling? I'm not sure but mine were quite hard until about 3-4 months when they softened up nicely

Thanks misf I hadn't thought about the squidge being swelling I thought of swelling as being hard like when I swelled when my milk came in and they were like rocks then x

swelling in boobs may be hard hun I'm not sure lol, most of my swelling was round my ribs I felt like the staypuff marshmallow man (off ghostbusters) Hysterical

Hysterical I love that film

I had bruising around my ribcage too at the sides and not the front which I found strange it looked like I hadn't had a wash. Maybe the squidge was fluid and now thats gone the rocks are the swelling who knows the sandpapered nipples aren't helping I shouldn't grumble I didn't have any pain

peachy - the sandpaper nipples are horrible aren't they. i put cotton wool pads in front of them to stop the rubbing, it helped a little bit. mine are softer on the sides but top and inside still hard.

Awww mine were hard too hun, it is down to the swelling. Mine felt the same as when I was breast feeding, very swollen and engorged, I found ice packs helped lots to relieve this hunni. xx

That's interesting Peachy i hadn't thought of mine being swollen, i'm like you just breezed through it, but now i come to think of it mine are very heavy and feel like they are full of milk. so i guess it is the swelling, i just thought they were heavy because of the implants and that's the way things would stay. :heehee:

mine were hard at first to they do soften when i started massaging mine at 6 weeks with vit e they really started to soften then xxxxx

mine are hard and always have been from coming out of surgery think its normal hun, im just still swollen around my belly hun and nothing do with loo !!!!

I've tried breast pads but even they are chafing a bit so will try just cotton wool thanks hun xx

they do take a while to soften up hun, having a BA is unfotunately a bit of a waiting game at times but it is all worth it in the end xx

OMG wouldnt like go loo after you then when the time comes lol!!!!!! Hysterical
hope it all gets back to normal soon hun nothing worse, im back to normal now even bloated tummy gone. just left with bloody thrush tho !!!!!!!!!
