When do you feel normal again?
Hi girls,
I'm just wondering if and when did you feel normal again after your BA's? Do you forget that you have implants inside you? Do you stop being really careful everytime you move?
Did the thought of the implants inside you, ever knock you sick after the surgery?
I've heard girls say they can feel their drinks in their boobs!! eeekkkk xxx

For me, although by 6 weeks post-op I was more or less back to normal in doing everything, it wasn't until 6 months post-op that I felt completey normal where I no longer worried about having a knock on the boobs, I stopped feeling protective of my boobies and felt they were no longer alien but just a part of me.

Yeah, you do, as I said above, you just stop thinking of your boobs as implants and then just as boobs.... over time, you just treat them as you did with your natural boobs.

No, never, infact quite the opposite for me, each time I thought of the implants early post-op I just got excited seeing the new boobs I had!... The only time I was ever knocked sick was when I actually did take a knock to one of my boobs, it really did make me physically sick! I was fine later though.

Due to the nerves healing, occasionally some ladies experience a trickling sensation in the breasts, it's nothing to worry about at all and doesn't last long, it passes and you don't feel it again. xx

Re: When do you feel normal again?
My boobs feel like part of me. James McDiarmid said in a post some of his ladies feel like they are a part of them that's always been missing and is now there. That sums up how I feel about my boobs.
I'm 3 weeks post op and not entirely back to normal, as in can't do most exercise and still in sports bra, but I don't worry about them so much. I just love to look at them and now they are softening and have some jiggle they feel more like my boobs than implants.

Re: When do you feel normal again?
I'm just over 3 weeks post op 2nd time round and starting to feel normal again. I had my first implants 6 years and I can honestly say I pretty much forgot I had them! They just felt totally normal too me.Even with my new ones I'm only aware that I've had an op cause of the soreness and tight skin the implants feel like part of me.Hope that helps x

Re: When do you feel normal again?
hi tanya, i felt really weird for the first 2-3 weeks (i was quite poorly) and i could feel the implant really pushing on my muscle too, (i had overs), this was really uncomfy but it went after a week or so, also had the drinking and feeling in boobs sensation.
I am 9 weeks po and they are part of me now and its a really nice feeling to have cant explain it, but you will know what i mean when you have your new boobies too lol..
xx
