Par for the course or not???!!
Hi Ladies.
Started to have a grope of myself and have noticed a couple of odd things can you tell me whether it's anything to be concerned over or perfectly normal.
I have yellow bruising from my arm pits down side to mid rib cage and all the way between my boobs to my belly button.
If I press inbetween my boobs I feel little bubbles and it crackles and pops - am i filled with rice crispies!!?? :boobstick:
I am still SO BLOATED after the anaesthetic and medicine - 6 days later. Feel like pricking my tum with a pin to go POP! :teehee:
Would appreciate your comments
MY BOOBS A LITTLE MORE WITH EVERYDAY!!

Re: Par for the course or not???!!
Thanks Janey
Yes I took arnica but could feel i was black and blue even through i didnt look it so maybe it helped there and now i have stopped taking them the yellow is coming out....look like i've got an odd tan!! LOL
I too was completely constipated and after about 8 senekot max it finally surrendered! YUCK!
It's just literally a blown out abdomen and it hurts if i try to hold it in!
I have my follow up on tues 31st august so will be sure to let him the rice crispies!

Re: Par for the course or not???!!
I had all the same as you have described, the crackling between the boobs went after a week,i think it's something to do with swelling(it went when most of my swelling went down) and maybe the skin stretching to accomadate the new
I still have brusing on my right boob now, (op was on the 31st july) its in the shape of the dressing but it started out very dark and has now faded to a light yellow and is getting smaller, but i do bruise very easily,

Oh and i forgot to say i had so much bloating i looked 6 months pregnant, i think my belly stuck out further than my boobs, even though i wasn't constipated after around day 3(too much info, sorry ) but that has started to go down now, so dont worry it all sounds compleatly normal.xx

Re: Par for the course or not???!!
hi ceejay, i had the bruising, i had the crackling and popping...and the worst of the 3 the bloatedness...that was THE most horrid thing ever, but it DOES go away took 2-3 weeks for me though  .. i was told by my nurse to use gaviscon and buscopan, the gaviscon helped loads, but the buscopan only helped for a day or so and then they gave me the most terrible cramps..  ...eventually it went but i looked and felt awful for what felt like forever.. (it just feels that way, my tummy looked bigger than my boobs lol)!!
lots of water thats what i would recommend, and when you have finished the anitbiotics your tummy will start to go down.
hope this helps hunni xx

Re: Par for the course or not???!!
All completely normal hun. I bruised a lot after my surgery - yellow, black, blue, purple you name it my boobs were that colour! I even had finger print bruises across my boob where my surgeon had put the implant in place!
Gurgling, bubbling, fizzing, popping, crackling is all completely normal too, its just a bit of air that gets trapped during surgery - this goes after a couple of weeks.
And yes I was soooo bloated after mine - its the GA and various other things I felt so fat after mine, this also goes after a couple of weeks.
Nothng to worry about there hun, it all sounds very normal to me! Odd sensations I know but it does not last very long I promise! x

I also took arnica and smothered my boobs in arnica cream but I was still multicoloured for a good month after surgery!

Re: Par for the course or not???!!
Phew thanks a lot!
I spent a fortune on gym and classes after my daughter was born and finally achieved the fitness level I wanted but now feel like i've just had a baby agin! Not being able to exercise, bloated, sore and stiff and by tummy looks flabby again - do you think my abs could have been stretched or weakened during the surgery?
Is anyone suffering from ultra sensitive teeth too?

Ceejay - hey!
Happy 1 wk boobie anniversary !!!
In answer to your question, I've only felt the huge bloatingness. Nit had the gurgling or snap, crackle and pop just yet but that becaused of this dreaded compression strap I've got on -- hoping to get it off today - yay freedom!!! So, snap, cracole and pop nay come and pay me a visit once it's off I shall keep u posted sweets !
How ya feeling one week on?? I'm pretty much feeling my usual self which is good - just a little morning boobs first thing but once that wears off I'm good!! Finally feel like i've got my right arm movement back too !!
When do you go back for your post op appointment??
