Feel like a very lucky lady
Just had my re-op on thurs and my PIPs have gone! Im counting my blessings because i know how lucky i am and there are other ladies still trying to get sorted.
All is well so far having a re-op is not so bad at all. Was sooo sore the first day because of having drains and around the insicisions but apparently thats due to cutting the old scar tissue. But over all im alot better than the first time round( i have unders and first time was like having an elephant sat on my chest!)Can even lift my arms up this time..whoo!As for my lovely new boobies they are firm and pointy looking but the nice thing of having the re-op is that it doesn't freak you out so much i think as you know not to panic i guess. But the best thing has to be they are not dodgy mattress filler anymore!

I'm so happy for you!
Mine are coming out on the 22nd Sept and although I'm not as excited about the surgery as i was the first time, I know it will be such a relief when they are out!
Did you have a capsulectomy also?

Re: Feel like a very lucky lady
Thanks ladies for your lovely messages! Still all good today apart from the bloated post op tummy (prunes anyone?)
Vix - Yes my surgeon said i would have drains, he said he usually did for re-op but i actually had them first time round too and they didnt hurt at all that time.Dont worry if yours says you will have them as everyone is different. My nurse just gave me extra pain relief because they felt sore and i managed to sleep ok.They helped me to the loo the first couple of times with them but by the evening i was able to carry them myself like a strange handbag!
Ladylumps- I didn't have a capsulectomy so not sure how that feels but i too was not excited(even felt more worried i think) before this op either. Its because of the whole Pip thing hanging over it. Felt like it wasn't my choice But believe me you will be so relieved when it over its worth the pre op worry.Good Luck with it !!It will soon be over Kate xx
