Re: What to tell kids
i have a nearly 3 year old and twin 1 year olds, the twins obviously dont have a clue lol but i did tell my eva as i had to leave her for 3 days as went to brussels to get them done and so she was staying with my sister and nan and i decided to be open with her which has worked fine, i just said mummys boobies arent right and i got to go to hospital so the doctor can fix them and she was fine with that, the good thing was when i got bqck she knew to stay away from them and not jump on me and would constantly say your boobies are sore arent they mummy oh but a very cringe thing she now says out loud is mummy your boobies are massive lmao!!
very embarresing when were out!

ha ha vicky, I know that feeling!
I can honestly say nobody at work or out and about has commented about my boobs and because of previous padded bra's to a nastly unflattering sports bra don't think there is a massive difference - until the proper bra's come x

They probably wont notice
I've gone from a very flat 32aa to a 32e(2 weeks po)and my 4 younger one's haven't even noticed, which even now i am finding very hard to believe as they notice EVERYTHING, even to the point of spotting new clothes i have bought. I origanally didn't tell them as i didn't want them panicing about me having a op but they now think i have just hurt my side and they cant get to close, maybe they will notice when i can wear tight clothes again but i dont really want it to be playground news when they go back to school

Re: What to tell kids
Hi Kittie
Mine are 3 and 5 months, my 3 year old picks up on everything then tells the world! I think I will tell her that I fell over while I was running and thats why I can't pick her up etc!!! Lol. It's a real mine field isn't it with kids. It doesn't help that she is obsessed with any injury. I had a mole removed a few months ago and she asked me every day for about two months to see my scar and would tell everyone about it!!!
Good luck on Saturday x x x x

Re: What to tell kids
My son is 10 and daughter is 7. I chose not to tell them and at 15 days PO, they haven't noticed. I wasn't sure how to explain to them what I did and even if I gave a basic explanation they would ask more questions "how did the doctor lift them?" "how did he make them fuller?" "what's inside now?" those questions worried me. However, I will tell them when they're older. I think especially for our daughters, it will teach them that as Mommies we are stong women and have the power to change the things that we are not happy with. It's no different than working out, dying your hair, or getting a wax. We have the power to be what and who we want.
Good luck and congrats!!!!

I had a clients daughter tell me - "you know my mum has fake skin (she spray tans) and now she has fake boobies too but Daddy likes them"
