theme park rides
We were thinking of taking the kids to pleasurewood hills one day this summer, but would i be able to go on any rides or would it affect my implants? my scars seem pretty well healed already and i feel pretty much back to normal. My boyfriend thinks it would be alright if i just avoided the ones with G force. I think id be alright as long as i wore a high impact sports bra.
Does anyone know?

Re: theme park rides
Although you feel like you're healed and you feel good, internally you are still healing and will be for a good 6 weeks... I'm thinking that as you're requested to avoid any excercise for 6 weeks, the jolting around from a fairground ride even with a good sportsbra on may not be a good idea, but you could always call your clinic and ask though. xx

Re: theme park rides
I'm sure walking and biking at 4 wks would be fine hun bt just double check with your surgeon at your next appointment. It is strenuous exercise they don't want you doing - esp using your upper body or jigging the boobies about like running.
I wouldn't go on the rides though, but again check with your surgeon he may be ok with it. xx

Re: theme park rides
I'm not sure hun- I think the working up a sweat is not the problem but when you power walk you use your arms quite a lot and this could cause problems.

Hi Abbie,
I just got the OK to start back at the gym although I did sneek a few sessions in last week. I was just walking on the treadmill and stationery bike. I can now go to light upper body weights, easy jogging and get back in the pool. I would think the rides might jolt you around a bit, even hill climbing on the bike hurt after a while across the top of my chest, so I would say wait a while and be on the safe side.

Re: theme park rides
i think ill go back, but really listen to my body and be extra cautious.
I need to get back though as ive already put on 2lb in the last 2 and a bit weeks. Ive been walking the dog etc to try and keep a bit active, but normally I go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and walk miles pushing a heavy double buggy to do the nursery run. Now im just sitting round the house doing nothing most of the day
