what do they put you in after op?
I know sounds daft but when you come round from operation i presume you are all bandaged up?Do you then go home like this or do they give you a special kind of bra/support to wear. When do you get to peek at them?

Re: what do they put you in after op?
I think everyone is different, some people have tape from under their boobs to their collar bone, others have dressings over their scars and some wake up in their sports bras. I myself woke up with dressings over my scars and a bandage over my boobs which I was able to take off the next day. So I didn't get to see my boobs untill the following day, but I know others have had to wait until their post op appointment.

I woke up just with steristrip on my scars so could see my boobies straight away, the nurse then helped me into my sports bra.

Re: what do they put you in after op?
It depends on your surgeon Daisymay.
Some ladies just wake with steri-strips and a light gauze covering on their wounds, some have tape wrapped around their boobs, some have to wear a strap across the top of their breasts and some have compression bandages, some are sent home in a sportsbra in addition to their dressings and some not....
When you have your consultation you'll be able to discuss with your surgeon what you should expect hun. xx
