Cohesive Gel implants
I chose to have cohesive gel implants but have only ever looked at people with saline implants in real life!
Very happy with the choice iv made .. just wondered if they look/ feel any different?? Obviously much different feeling the implant in your hand than inside the breast!

Re: Cohesive Gel implants
It is relatively rare for women to have saline implants in the UK, from what I have read, silicone cohesive gel implants feel much more like real boobies than saline, also with saline you can get worse rippling and sometimes if they are not filled properly they can even make sloshing sounds! Silicone gel implants are now very safe (excluding PIPs!) and are a great choice. xxx

See i thought this but this girl (not close enough to call her a friend!) told me they were saline! At my consultation my surgeon went on a tangent about saline implants being able to freeze in the cold and heat up in the sun! xxx

Yeah, hardly any clinics will offer saline any more. They're a primitive form of implant and like Cookie said, silicone gel is much safer nowadays.

Re: Cohesive Gel implants
I've never heard of saline implants being able to freeze and warm up depending on the temperature before... I thought it was a myth because your body temperature is fairly stable and they're in a central location. Will have to research this, which surgeon said it?...
I'm having the cohesive gel, they feel good, very natural! I can't wait! X

Re: Cohesive Gel implants
Hi,
I had the Brazilian Cohesive Gel implants, they also call them gummybear implants, at 20 days post op they already feel softer and look very natural. In OZ they are expensive because they're top of the line but I liked the fact that CC is reduced to less that 1% and with overs there is no rippling AND that if they rupture the gel stays together just like a gummybear.

Hey,
They felt huge at first but now they feel fine, I was a 34b and have pretty broad shoulders I have been measured for a new supprt bra as the hospital one is too small now and am 34dd/e.
If you want to see my pics just PM for password.
There is a girl on here bloneyglamour who just had 460 overs and she has a smaller frame than me and they don't look too big either.

I'm pretty sure that would never happen, they are in your body and body temp is constant at 37 degrees, I can imagine them possibly heating up in the heat but not freezing. xxx
