Sweetheart, at 2 weeks post-op you'll still be protecting those babies clutching on to them to avoid any bumps from passers by! There's no way at 2 weeks post-op you'll be going on fairground rides hun - Sorry. xxx

Sorry but there is no chance, you will feel like they will fall off without a bra on let alone on a ride. It may be quite a few months before you feel like you will be able to go on rides. It can take a year to fully heal from surgery, it is a major operation. But it is very worth it in the end.

Will I be well enough to at least take the kids, if I give the rides a miss?

I wouldn't think so. I was exhausted going shopping 2 weeks post op. There is no way I could have walked around the show all day with kids as well. Your sposed to really do nothing for 6 weeks to allow your body to recover.

Hey Miss Renee
I think you should play that one by ear. By 2 weeks PO, I would have been fine walking around. And my surgeon said when I asked, that walking was fine PO as long as there is no pain.
I wouldn't have gone on any rides though, unless they were those real slow cars that go round at about 3mph and aren't bumpy!!

I'm with Maria here hun - I wouldn't commit to anything and make any promises to the children, I'd just play it by ear and see how I felt on the actual day.
Some ladies recover very quickly and are fine to walk around, although if it's busy, you'll still be clutching on to your boobs to avoid any knocks or bumps.... Others take a little longer to recover and would be far to tired to go to any kind of event - Just see how it goes sweetness. xx
Re: Another queston RE: carnival rides this time....
I was supposed to goto thorpe park on sunday for a friends birthday, but my op was on saturday so that was never going to happen, lol!
I actually asked my surgeon about theme parks and when can i go on rides, and he said hes been waiting for someone to ask him that for years! he advised a good few months, as rides do squash you in your seat and can hurt like hell! I want to head upto alton towers in november so im hoping thats long enough to heal!
