Finally got measured..................
I managed to arrange a work appointment at the end of last week for today that co-incided with me being near to Marks and Spencers at lunchtime so popped in today after the appointment and got properly measured for the first time since the op.
I am officially an M&S 32E which is amazing as I asked for a DD and was worried that I wouldn't make that. Not sure why really as have been wearing a 34DD sports bra since the op, but somehow convinced myself I would be about a C haha. Any idea how La Senza bras compare in size to M&S bras as that is where I normally shop - guess I will have to be measured in there too?
Wahoo, how nice is it to finally by some decent pretty bras in the right size, and clothes look so much better in them than the sports bras - pointy boobs anyone!!
Just need to see my surgeon on Sunday now and hope that he gives me the go ahead to start wearing them (will be 8 weeks post-op by then, so I hope he does). Can't face another 4 weeks of sports bras, and my new man will be home by then so hoping the give the new smalls (or should that be bigs) their first airing.
Thanks for advising me to hold on from buying bras until I got properly measured as I would have just bought 34DD's like my sports bra otherwise.

Re: Finally got measured..................
I am a 36DD sports bra and was expecting to be 34DD normal size, I am 3weeks post op. Going for a trip to primark soon and I just want to buy every bra under the sun...but I know I should hold off and wait to get measured properly! Its so frustrating but I know it'll be worth it in the end as I don't know what size I'm gonna end up! xxxxxx

Hiya Huni,
I work at La Senza Head Office, our sizes normaly come up slightly smaller than everywhere else, people always need bigger bras and even nightwear sizes lol!
Go into one of the stores and get measured, you may even end up a size bigger lol xx

Re: Finally got measured..................
Congratulations on your 32E's I have found la senza come up small and have to go up a cup size, sometimes I have to go up a band size and cupsize, depends on the style. Always best to try underwear on before you buy it.
Re: Finally got measured..................
Thanks girlies.
One other question - am I likely to have many more changes (i'm only 7.5 weeks post-op) or will this be pretty much my end result now. Don't want to go and buy any more bras just yet if my boobs may change again as it will be a waste of money. I am assuming that all my swelling will be way gone by now so guessing this will be it now.
So chuffed with the 32E's though - my surgeon has done an amazing job.

Re: Finally got measured..................
congrats on your 32Es!!! I'm 32DD in m&S and 32E in La Senza. You really have to try on in every shop. I'm 12weeks now and don't think I've any more changes to go through but when reading this forum some girls can see changes right up to 1 year post op. Everyone's different! Enjoy!! x

Re: Finally got measured..................
Congrats on your new 32E's! Yeh, as others have said I've also found La Senza to be a little neat with their sizes. It's the only shop where I'm a 36D (always been a 36C).

Re: Finally got measured..................
Hi Elizabeth, I was a 32B pre-BA, although I would usually go up to a 32C the week before my period was due.
