Oh my god, thank you so much, girls I've actually got tears in my eyes seeing so much support. You are all wonderful.

My operation went well. I stayed overnight. Returned home this morning and I have slept practically all day. Feeling weak and drowsy with the meds. Not in pain at all. No tightness.

My ps said the area was very mucky and the implant really needed to come out. He reckons if everything heals well, I should have a reop in the next 2 months. I haven't looked at my deflated boob yet. Don't want to. Too depressing

However, today I have realised I still have my boob. There are women out there who go through cancer and get all the breast tissue and nipple removed. I ONLY have an IMPLANT removed. I've still got my breast! It's not the end of the world. Thinking this way has really kept me smiling

I'm gonna get back to bed now. All I wanted is to thank you all for your kind words. I'm so lucky to have this forum right now. Thanks so much.

You are being so brave, and very positive, yes there are always people worse off than you but that doesnt make it feel any better does it?
