When will I be told my admission time? Empty When will I be told my admission time?

Post by Hshaw1 25th June 2010, 8:12 am

Hi, I'm booked for Aug 3rd, and whilst having my pre op I forgot to ask how and when I'll be contacted about admission times. I did request to be a morning admission, but was just wondering if I'll be contacted by post or phone? And when can I expect to hear?

I'm at Highgate, London,

Thanks x

Think I was told I'd get a letter 5 days before, but I ended up having an appt with them a week before and they gave it to me then.

Admission times are likely to change closer to your op date. Mine was made earlier even though I was last in theatre...

But if you think about it if you book in advance the date doesn't fill up till closer to the time and only then can they give you a specfic time. Are you a daycase or overnight stay?

Hi just a little update, I have been told that I will be informed of my admission time about 5 days prior to surgery. Thank you all for you replies,I I'll be honest tho I wish they could tell me sooner, it's quite short notice.

Thank you again x
