Oooh peachy & knotty you're almost there!!!!
Bblondiiie so sorry to hear you had to postpone but hope it won't be too long.
Sounds like everyone is healing really well. I am now 13 days post op and can finally sleep on my side! And the dreaded buddha belly is gone!!!! After taking senna every night for 4/5 nights I finally went to the toilet TMI I know but I'm so pleased lol.

Hi Girls
Hope everyone is healing well and all pre BA girls are getting excited.
I am going to write my storey up later on. I am feeling ok pain wise but got the usual bloated belly, constipation and I can't keep awake which I am not sure if that is normal.

Re: August Buddies!
hey suz
i reckon it's those painkillers making you bloated and tired. hope you are allowed to come off them really soon. i was given a patch on my arm for the first 48 hours that released painkillers into my system. i just took a couple of paracetamol during the night after that if needed. it seemed to agree with me, and haven't been tired or bloated at all.
i have been so very fortunate in my recovery. i had my post-op appointment this morning, and my plasters were taken off. the incisions are soooo tiny and neat! i'm well happy with my boobs. over the bloody moon in fact. i feel the luckiest girl on the planet right now.
hope the rest of the august girls are well.

I'm hoping to have an afternoon admission myself just so I'm in hosp for least amount of time lol. I might ring and request that did you ask the PC or did you phone the hospital direct? I'll be travelling from Sheffield hun so it should take a couple of hours to get there x
im going down night before with hubby, hotel was a fiver dearer do 2nights!

im working till 3pm on that sunday tho gutted!
plan is get down there find hospital then have a nice meal and chill out for a bit , i was told would find out friday afternoon will let you know hun, i rang clinic and spoke to pc, she said they do timetable 2 days before so ring them and see what they say x
might not get it but worth try! just dont wanna be sat round doing waiting game lol. xxxxx not long now though till we get
Have they phoned you yet? I'm in at 12 on Tuesday to be honest it suits me better with the kids they can stay at home with me the night before and stay at their nans for the night of the op and the night after. I can drop them off after breakfast and set off about 9.30. If I was an early admission I'd thought about booking a hotel but don't see the point now. Getting excited though now. Hope all goes well for you huni xxxx

Re: August Buddies!
Hi girls glad you are all healing well not long for me now it will fly by with it being the bank holiday weekend aswell.
Note to self to pay a visit to chemist to get something for bloating/going to loo after op as this seems to be a general complaint. Other than that I'm pretty much ready to go. Just need to get my overnight case out of loft and give it a dust down but other than that 4 sleeps and I will have boobies yippee
xx

Re: August Buddies!
Hi girlies, Hope everyone is well.
I've also got the Buddha belly at the moment, in a bit of discomfort with it. I haven't had any 'toilet' action since my op so I'm going to try the Senokot tonight.
Boobies feel ok though. A bit itchy under the incision dressings.
Oooh Peachy and Knotty it's nearly your time!! Hope you're excited!
All the breast! xxx

Hey lorrs - I'm sure you've thought of this already but re. PJ's I'd recommend button up top. I got quite a nice pair from primark for a fiver. Also if the neck line is high that helps so that when the hospital give you the ice packs you can just pot it on top of your PJ's and it doesn't touch your skin but gives maximum relief.
Happy shopping!! Xx

Re: August Buddies!
Good luck to all the girls who havetheir Ba next week. I was so nervous about the pain, thought I was going to be in agony but wasn't. I kept on top of my pain relief for the first 3 or 4 days which I think helped.
I have my first post op appointment on tuedy to have dressings changed, I'm looking forward to seeing how well I'm healing.
How are all the post op girls doing?

Dolan Park rang me yesterday teatime to tell me times. I rang them back today cos I had a bit of a panic yesterday as it kind of hit me that its really happening while I was on the phone. They told me I would be admitted at 12 could eat until 6am and then only water to 10am. I asked what time op would be and she couldn't specify. I asked what time I would be discharged next day & she said the general rule is around the time of admission is around the time of discharge so I shouldn't expect to go before 12 the next day unless I request it. So you do get your moneys worth if you are admitted in the afternooon lol.
I'm going to give my house a good going over Monday do all the bits that I don't do daily and to tire me out so I sleep that night.
Don't know what we are doing tomorrow so if I don't get chance to get on here hope all goes well for you huni and you get the boobies you want, will hopefully hear all about it when I get back xxx
