Bra cleavage!
I've been reading other posts about unders not having as good a cleavage and being spaced far apart. I'm startin to worry now because my surgeon says unders are the best for me as i have such little breast tissue to begin with and my skin type. Im having a little panic because i would like to achieve a cleavage with a push up bra atleast!! If anyone has any pics of under implants in a bra/clothes i was wondering if i could be cheeky and have a look at the kind of cleavage you can get.
Either way I'm still goin to have my boob job wether they get a cleavage or not because any boobs is better than mine at the moment!! I just would like to see some after photos but in Bra's (which ther isnt many on the internet they are all naked)

Re: Bra cleavage!
Hey,
wish I could help as had had the exact thoughts before my BA. Unfortuntely I'm not allowed to wear any underwired bras yet so have no picture to share with you. But what I can say is that I had a 34B before and was able to achieve a nice, if little, cleavage at the time with a good push-up and my breasts now have exactly the same shape and spacing as before the BA (which is nice since I always really liked the shape and was what I asked to keep). So I'm assuming, and hoping, that I can achieve the same kind of cleavage again, once the healing time is over.
But honestly I really like the look without a bra now as well. Even though no massive cleavage but nice, firm and perky.
Hope that helps a little?

Re: Bra cleavage!
No worries hun, we are all going through the same :)
I wish I had known this forum before my BA so I could have asked all those questions I had instead of driving myself crazy!

Re: Bra cleavage!
Hi hun, I had overs but don't get as great a cleavage due to having such a wide gap pre and post BA. I asked our resident surgeon James McDiarmid this a while ago, you can see the thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
In my opinion the possibilities for cleavage depend more on the shape of
your chest and rib cage than anything else.
This factor is only very
rarely mentioned in surgical assessment but is absolutely vital in
terms of determining how likely you are to close the gap between the
breasts.
So... if your ribs slope away quite a lot it is more
likely you will start and fisnish with a significant gap between the
implants and there isn't a whole lot that can be done about this.
If
your ribs are pretty straight then you are more likely to start and
finish with less of a gap.
You are also right that changing the
profile or base width of a form-stable implant can push the implant
closer to the middle - especially in the context of a secondary
procedure when the lateral wall of capsule can be used as a resisting
buttress to push the implant toward the middle.
The most
important factor though is undoubtedly chest shape.
Re: Bra cleavage!
Thanks! i just looked at my chest shape in the mirror an i think mines pretty straight! i can get a cleavage now if i use gelly bra's and fillets etc so just hoping i will still be able to get one with a push up bra after the op (only a better one that i dont have to keep re-adjusting )
